OK my brother had a cold/flu bug not long ago.. so he fucking coughs all over the place...sneezes when he opens the fridge so surprise surprise i'm full of it now and feel like shit..and he goes off on a night out and says "get well soon" FUUUUUUUUUU-

I wish I had the flu so I could stay home tomorrow and play Mass Effect 2.
Fuck I only have 8 hours to play before I go to work. >:

Trust me lads if you did indeed have Flu you would not feel like playing a game or posting on the internet. Flu is a really serious illness what you have is a cold mate.

Different people get different reactions to flu, reg67.
I, for instance get 38-39 degree fever for one day and then I get muscle pain. Without fever. Now that sucks.
Luckily I've only had flu 2 times in last 10 years.

Ow ffs.....
Yesterday my sister called if i could come to her for half an hour to watch the kids because she was sick... Had to Cycle (car broke down) after only 2 hours of sleep to her place while wet snow was coming down if there was no tomorrow. I was freezing.
And today ... when i have a date later on ... i'm sick 
I can allmost not breath because of the pain in my chest ....

lol
i got the flu. been in bed since last friday.
can't move. can't breathe. tempature here and there. can't sleep. everything hurts. head spins. gaming is a chore. you're hungry but you don't wanna eat cuz your throat hurts. lol. i had the flu twice in the past 5 months. wtf

Pretty much. I had flu in February, 5 days of 38, 39 fever, sore throat and cough, headache, been in bed most of the time can't do much really. And you can barely eat cuz of the fever it all tastes like crap.

And i had a fever of 39,7 when i was hospitalized. I was reduced for sure, but i had no problems walking around.

last time i had the flu i blacked out in the shower. was so weird, i was wondering why my toe hurt, and realised it was because it was jammed up against the wall, and thats when i realised my face was on the opposite wall. tried to move my head up and immediately felt dizzy... tried to push my luck by sitting up and almost threw up... i think i just sat there with my face against the wall, occasionally realising my head had slid backwards along it... righting it... then realising it had slid back... 20... 30 minutes, i have no idea, but i was pretty much dry by the time i could manage to sit up without throwing up... got dressed and then crashed on the bed...
next 3 days i felt like i was going to black out every time i stood up...
flu's fucking suck.

Been feeling exactly like waldo did 5 years ago!
. The cold wasn't bad at all but I got a secondary infection in my lungs (bronchitis) and I have been coughing pretty much every waking moment for 7 days. Luckily though, just an hour or so ago the phlegm in my lungs cleared out and I think it has finally gone! Or at least going. 
Start work tomorrow in a customer service role so really didn't want to be coughing my lungs up on the first day.
