|
 |
I like to buy stuff from ebay. Mostly its cheap chinese stuff. But the problem is the goods sometimes do not arrive. So I ask for a refund and I get my money back. Now the question is: should I buy it again? Or should I buy it from someone else. Alternatives usualy are priced higher, because I find the cheapest stuff. Have you ever rebought the same item and it arrived eventualy or if it does not arrive the first time you buy it, it never arrives no matter how many times you buy it?

My stuff arrives from China, however sometimes it is just junk and breaks soon after. I ask to return it and they just refund me. I think one time I never redeived it from China. I would not order again from same person. Usually there are multiple sellers from China with same cheap product.

Ebay is great!
Never get stuff from China/Hong Kong though, as it takes far too fuckin long, and either, ends up not what you ordered, or worse, an empty packet with your country's warning that it has been opened or damaged in post
Are you gonna send it back, which, most of the time ain't worth it, or wait for a reply from Mr Slitty, who now has your cash?
Nah, not worth saving a few bucks I'm afraid, but on the whole, I do love a good bargain on the Bay

That's some crap. While orders from Asia do take longer to arrive, there are statistically very little issues with them. From time to time, accidents happen, and usually sellers are always eager to help you just so you leave a high rating. Don't put your experience with one bad order as a projection of all Asian sellers.

Also, what you say makes no sense. The difference between the merchandise from Asia and USA/EU is that the USA/EU is the same product ordered in large quantity from Asia, and sold to you with a huge profit margin. Not sure about you, I'd rather buy as cheap as possible than fill the pockets of asshole resellers.

I use ebay A LOT! Selling and buying stuff constantly.
As long as the package doesn't show "delivered" by the carrier you are safe. Once it actually is shown as delivered.... whether or not you actually did receive it, the seller is no longer at fault.
Best to ask for signature required when buying things on ebay, good safety measure.

A few bucks? I ordered a fan for a laptop's cooling system (laptop was fine, just the fan died) a few years ago. Odd size, couldn't fit any standard size so I had to order a specific part.
Lowest price of that part here in the EU (and I checked B2B as well)? Just over 31 Euros. For a fucking ~35mm fan.
Ordered it from China for 7 USD including shipping (90% of that being shipping), damn thing still works fine.

From my little experience, ordering stuff from Asia is safer than ordering from Italy. Except for the so called "official resellers", but those have prices that are nearly as high as the standard ones. Usually, when prices are too sexy here, something ain't right and the scam is around the corner.
A friend of mine though a couple of years ago ordered a pair of Nike Air Max from China and received a mini-package with some knockoff Crocs instead, it looked like the ultimate trolling xD. Thankfully it was just a genuine mistake and everything was solved.

15 orders from China, 4 missing, 3 broken, and 3 were wrong item.
No thanks, I'll spend a little more.
 |
You probably ordered from some crappy no-rating sellers. Buy from the well known Asia sellers, indeed "a little more" cash, as in 30 cents more and you'll be fine.
