I've always hated that game, ever since it came out, I've always seen it as childish. I don't like teenage angst in my games.
Also, the sword is a paddle.

You know, i hate angsty jap crap. But if a character is weak and a bit angsty in the beginning, only to man up later, then it's completely fine! i'd say it makes for a good game. But when a character is a real wuss from the start til the end, then i'd hate it. I had to quit tales of symphonia 2 because i couldn't stand the main character. How can anyone seriously design such a character?!

I don't dislike them, for me it's a matter of semantics. For instance I think that Chrono Trigger is one of the best action adventures I've ever played
Suikoden 1+2 are far better rpg's than Dragon Age 2 and possibly 3. They're certainly better games.
I don't necessarely judge games based on what genre they've been placed in, but on the contents of the games themselves.
