I'm having some problems with employment.
Some buildings just don't seem to get any long term workers. I have a load of unemployed citizens with 30-30-30-10 per cent distribution between education levels.
Still, some buildings that require them just don't get workers and my economy and development is struggling. Especially in the mission where you have to do tons of research.

Raise the budget for the buildings (I always set farms and stuff to the highest setting, 'well off'), maybe add a manager to increase job quality.


There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

IMPORTANT NOTICE! While using 1.01 savegames in the 1.02 version should generally work fine and has been tested extensively with no negative side effects, we can not guarantee that your experience will be the same, especially when picking up from an old campaign savegame.

Please do not report any bugs you may encounter when using 1.01 version savegames!

I'm glad they fixed the contracts and rebuild construction bugs, they were getting annoying, especially when you see an awesome trade contract, add a ship and it instantly expires.

Started playing this Tropico only yesterday, and I'm liking the changes so far, with the era/research system that adds a unique challenge with the planning across multiple time periods. Some early quests perhaps have a bit too much hand-holding for my tastes, it's okay though since it should get more challenging later on (as usual). Combat is simplistic, but does its job fine considering the genre.

"Nepotism" is an interesting feature albeit a tad underdeveloped, finally the bank account comes useful..for the family! Trade routes are pleasant too. Shame about some stuff that was left out (noticed less buildings for example, smells like DLCs incoming Razz).
