The problem is probably in the skidrow.dll file. Someone used this file from a previous Skidrow crack: Patch for Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga. I tried it as well - it does get me into the game, but not much else. It crashes when I try to start a new game.

just read that , yup would certainly appear to be the dll not liking 32 for whatever reason heh

Works perfectly fine here win7x64sp1, just have netframework4.

yeah, i think at this point it's pretty well confirmed that only 32 bit systems have the issue and that it is with the skidrow.dll
i tried using one from Divinity 2:v1.4.3 and it would launch ...but crash upon starting new game
Edit: I wonder why this hasn't been nuked, surely the rules would require it to work on 32bit systems

As per nfo:
Setting aside other issues, SRs crack for this game simply doesn't work on
Windows XP. We've tested it on a 32-bit version of XP SP3, and it wont't
even load. Here's a proper crack for you all to enjoy!

Well that was unexpected. June 3rd and releases on Steam as does Bone Town.
Guess you could say it "came" out of nowhere.
