but...is it the end for axe? its hard to imagine, didnt appeared in the trailer for s6 either. but prince is also entertaining to watch, i must say he is a solid new character they introduced to this show much like the taylor character
I like Prince. I don't think this is the end yet. Maybe part 1 of season 6 will focus on Prince but later change during part 2.
Very nice finale. This whole 2nd half of the season was good.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

That was so...boring. I felt like 2 hours passed but only 35 minutes over. I closed after that.
No Axe, no intensity, no fun. Just dragging the show now. Meh.

I was two seasons behind and could feel Chuck breathing down my neck, so it was time to invest some hours into Mkvcorp to see how Showtime handled the unfortunate Axecalypse and its aftermath. S04 was a solid season in line with the previous ones, with its typical flaws, over-the-topness and Theylor-isms, but still engaging and relentless as per tradition. Rebecca Cantu was an interesting addition that brought another layer to Axe's world, with the related drama. Oh, and Jade Eshete made me giggity ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
S05 saw a pretty noticeable dip in the quality of writing, with 2/3 of the season going nowhere and playing out like a sitcom more than anything else. The final episodes however gave the season a reason to exist and the ending with its sudden escalation was fitting all things considered (kind of)
As for S06, it's watchable so far but it definitely feels like the show has run its natural course. Honestly, I don't see another Homeland-like scenario happening here since Damian Lewis was too vital and the Billions formula can't benefit from all the different settings, intrigues and developments that an espionage thriller can provide. I'll keep watching it though with the hope that it will get its mojo back, perhaps with Prince dropping the mask and turning into a proper arsehole.
Hopefully. But not seeing it.
looks like we lost another one to the pole.
I mean with another season confirmed. We will either get Prince or Chuck win and then next season whoever is loser from this season comes out on the top.
I could write this in almost any topic but - it's all just content for the machine. Product need content to produce more product for consumers.
Just look at the credits in games/movies, it is nowadays thousands of people involved. This machinery and the bullshit jobs have to be kept alive and money is being moved around.
Need more content! Give content!
instead of spending the money in london to get axe back so they can revitalize the main show they rather spend it on 3 other projects to even delute the quality of the show...
did the show take like a long break in the last few eps ? I seemed to have stopped watching around ep8-9 of se6 and now happy to find out some more eps to enjoy, just cant figure out why i didnt finish se6, maybe i found succesion same timeperiod and started binging that instead

Not really, no. I don't want to spoil it for you what happened in last episode of last season if you havent watch it. But things are coming even much quicker now.
