Is there a Ubisoft, Orbit or UPlay folder in there? Those could also be possible locations.
(Otherwise it's either the actual game folder or somewhere in the "AppData\local" or "AppData\roaming" User folders.)

Maybe RLD used the default save location?

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\MightAndMagicXLegacy
(Was used during Early-Access before UPlay was added in fully, now it's the Ubisoft Uplay program folder by default and whatever location the specific cracking group specifies for emulating said functionality or how to call it.)

I have a couple of probably stupid questions, but bear in mind it's the first M&M game I have played apart from Heroes.

1.Are enemies at different levels in each area? If so how do I know if I can best them? How do I see what level they actually are compared to me?

2.Is there a way to display the enemies health numerically instead of the red bar?

3.Is there a way to turn off that annoying whistling/humming etc? (I don't mean the character 'barks' but the random humming,whistling and yawning.)

1. different areas will have different enemies. However, enemies do not have "levels" per say - if two monsters have the same name, they are pretty much identical. As you explore more dangerous areas you will encounter more difficult monsters - if they're too strong for you, reload and choose a different path.

2. not that I know of.

3. dunno, I just disabled all sound other than the notifications you party gives when they spot a secret.

I really enjoyed the game for about 25 hours, but the shortcomings are beginning to show now. The concept is very addictive, I was very impressed by this title (probably because I didn't expect much to begin with). I uninstalled it now since it gets boring, but thumbs up to the team for giving me fun gameplay for that many hours. I hope they get a proper budget and make a new game, it's a damn shame this title feels budgety.

8/10 (even though I couldn't finish it).

Game length is irrelevant to me, I value fun. The game kept me interested all those hours, much better than a 50 hour game in which I run back and forth for 20 hours.

I just started playing this again, first time since Early Access, and I notice that while it runs perfectly most of the time; it has awful frame-drop/slowdown whenever I ROTATE Sad Judders slowly and painfully from 60 to 50/45 and then back up again after a second or two. Walking and strafing is perfect, no problems at all and it stays locked at 60, but any kind of rotating or mouse look causes the slowdown. The only fix is either to run with "Retro Pixellation" or lower res from 1080 to 720, no matter what texture size option I have selected.

More low VRAM fun?

Third fix; disable vsync and lock framerate at 45. It's typically <60 juddery now but not the 60>50/45 horror that it was, now it stays at 45 even during rotates. Pfft, this sucks but it's better than nothing, I guess.

Hold on a minute, I thought placing a single point into Bow/Crossbow for each character netted you a free basic ranged weapon? No such thing here :\

If you give your chars one point in ranged, you get a free ranged weapon. Maybe it bugged out for you?

Yup, no free weapon - had to buy them. Oh well Smile The game's performance is far from perfect as I thought at the start, had to turn everything down to medium/high just to keep my cards (plural....) from breaking 98c >_> It's a fun game but far, far too intensive - and possibly destructive - for how it looks.

Fortress of Crows.... oh how I rage at thee. Those goddamned bastarding fucking cuntybollocks "Elite Ravenous Ghouls" and their bastarding fucking evil retaliation attacks. My god, even at Lv20 I'm getting annihilated Sad At least six Ghouls, six Elite Spear Skeletons, six Elite Spectres... all surrounding and attacking at once! it's insane! Nothing I hate more in this game than brutally unfair "retaliation/vengeance/vindictive" style skills on enemies, cheap-ass shit that takes the game from an 8/10 to an instant 3/10. Awful weak shit.

Oh joy. Such joy. Amazing joy. Most joy. Turns out you can't even ENTER two fairly large/expansive/XP-filled dungeons unless you have an Orc and a Dwarf in your party. Holy fuck, which dipshit thought that was a good idea? Facepalm

Yeah I said that earlier when my first party of humans encountered those locations, there's a grove where you need a elf, a cave where you need a orc and a ruin where you need a dwarf.

Aside from exploration (Which I believe you can do most things in those places by just exploring.) they're also the locations for a specific class promotion of that particular race.
(Warden, Elf - Marauder, Orc and Rune-Priest, Dwarf if I remember correctly.)

By not having access to these locations you miss some bestiary entries and up to three boss encounters (For one of them you need to have the Orc promotion quest, Marauder I think.) plus of course the additional XP and items that would have been gained from clearing those areas.

Aye, I know about the class promotion stuff - but it still sucks royally that I can't even enter to explore and fight. Huge waste of XP potential that basically forces you into choosing four separate races and classes. Poor design if you ask me Sad

It is a bit strange, also it's not fully consistent since the human Windsword promotion area can be entered and cleared without any such restrictions from what I know.
(And it's just the same as those three places with a smallish dungeon designed for a promotion quest but you can explore most of it without taking said quest.)

EDIT: At least in the older games you could still take promotion quests and gain honorary membership (Just the title.) which meant you could still do the task but since there was no party member meeting the promotion requirements it was just in name or how to say.

This was CLEVER! I died the first time because I was just exploring on autopilot and wasn't paying attention as I'm near the end now and after nearly 60 hours; I'm pretty much dungeon'd out. Walked up on the decking and blegh... instadeath to everyone. Reload, walk back, and... well...

Woohoo! I've got the Deluxe Edition... I'd only just uninstalled this earlier today after clearing it as close to 100% as I could. All the available quests and dungeons, every single *available* enemy was killed as well. That's why I'm pissed you can't enter two large dungeons without certain races in your party >_> Ah well, was a great game but buggy with abysmal performance and some questionable design choices. I'll reinstall for the (free Very Happy) DLC though Very Happy

The game is now updated to version 1.5 which also adds support for the Falcon & Unicorn DLC, accessible by traveling to Karthal. Smile

EDIT: There's a short but still rather annoying stealth section at the start of the new quest, just remember to save regularly.

Yes, everything is free for Deluxe owners Smile You get a couple of extra dungeons from the latest patches, as well as the new expansion DLC.

It was a fantastic game in the end, incredibly rough with the lousy performance issues, but the gameplay was great and I had a blast. It's a shame they're ending it so soon Sad
