i know but i like the setting but hate the harder/souls mechanic. i dont want to play with a trainer to have infinite health or one hit kill or whatever, i just want enemies to hit with less dmg and rest leave unchanged if possible.
want something like fallen order which is more easy.
I finished all Souls games and Bloodborne but could not get into Sekiro. The fighting mechanics are so much different than Soulsborne I couldn't get used to it. I hate the deflection mechanic stuff cause in Soulsborne I always dodged or blocked. I suck at parrying.
Parry window is much larger and more forgiving in Sekiro than in Bloodborne or Souls games, since it's an important mechanic. But yea, I get your point, it's not everyone's thing and it does play differently compared to the previous games.
Souls-like needs to fuck off and die already, anyway, i played this with a 0.25 multiplier on enemy damage, made it much more fun and didn't take 2 weeks to finish, just around 3 days.
you do 0.25 multiplayer damage or you take less than that? and with what, a trainer?
the second mod link has a variation for 30% less dmg from enemies which is what i was looking for
It was a cheatengine table as far as i remember, and you could hack a lot of things, i just went with setting the enemies to do 25% damage to the player.

Nobody is forcing you to play them, you may just play an Asscreed or Lego game instead.
In 20 years of gaming I think sekiro and metro exodus were the only games i used cheats on. I only used infinite spirit emblems but I don't feel guilty about it. It's more fun to be able to experiment in your first playthrough when you don't know how stuff works and you die a million times at bosses.

Or you can stfu since i'll play it however the hell i like to play it. The game's fun and good once you turn the enemy damage down. Before that its an endless cycle of trial and error complete with long as shit walks between the bonfire and where you died until you learn a guys entire moveset, then finally beat him. It's not impossible but it makes the game 4 times longer to beat, and who's got time for that when there's so many other games to play?
You're the one who called for the whole genre to fuck off and die.
Why play if you hate it so much and you don't have enough time anyway?
You could just play what you enjoy instead.
Oh wait, you enjoy it with cheats? Then why do you want the genre to fuck off and die?
I don't get it.
Just have fun in whatever way you like and let others do the same. No reason to shit on Soulsborne. People enjoy it the way it is too, so why rob them of their way to enjoy these games when you have your own?
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.
Good point, fair enough! I realize that from my wording it seems like i dislike the genre entirely, what i'm actually trying to convey is that too many games nowadays try to emulate souls-like simply to pad the game length. See darksiders 3 or the jedi game for a perfect example of that.
So my comment was more of a general statement to all the games trying to be soulslike instead of simply action rpg games. And because there's so many soulslike games nowadays, these guys felt the need to bump up the difficulty even higher, to outdo the other soulslike clones to the point where it's ridiculous to play through. First time i ran into one of those shinobi at the top of the mountain i nearly broke my controller in half.
tested the cheat engine table above and works perfect so far, exactly what i wanted. if anyone else wants to try it then in dmg multiplier to player, 0 is godlike and 1 normal, 0.50 is like perfect, 0.25 is too easy. maybe modify posture dmg too to reflect multiplier dmg done to player. also has a fix to disable auto center camera which is a big plus and was unplayable like that with mouse.
so far i like it, has some crazy enemies, if i manage to finish it ill look next into dark souls games and nioh if you can reduce dmg to player similar to sekiro

Doesn't matter how you play it as long as you do and enjoy it.

Met Lady Butterfly yet?
i stopped playing after around 1h, after you meet the big chained guy. playing this way i found it to be unbalanced and boring. game is designed to be hard and thats the attractive part of it, you are ment to die to learn the mechanics and be alert. if you take away the difficulty this dosent turn into a good hack and slash game as i thought.
FromSoftware will release a free “Additional Features Update” for the March 2019-released Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on October 29, the developer announced. It will add the ability to fight previously defeated bosses, change the Wolf’s outward appearance, and send recordings of your actions to other players.
