how about you figure out why you can't really run osx's fluently without crashing on any of the super awesome pc's you got. oh wait you can't. your hardware can barely run osx. you know why? hardware for mac is made differently than hardware for pc.

It will end (already has, tbh) in severe cases of butt-hurt. Not by PC users, because we really don't give a shit - we buy powerful hardware to run games - but by Apple fanboys who feel the need to nerd-rage and justify (with bullshit, by the way  ) their ridiculously overcharged, undercapable, machines.
$2k for a low-end Mac Pro. Hell, it's probably even more expensive. Gimme $2k and I'll build a machine that'll run every PC game ever, either out or coming out, as well as being a stonking workhorse for 3D graphics editing and creation.

...and where does that stability come from? limited selection of components, almost the same as with consoles. windows crashes don't happen because MS is too fucking stupid to code an OS, but cause you can build your system from a shitload of different pieces. just imagine what would happen if apple made a version of their OS that runs on every PC, just like windows - would it be stable? hell no.
and why is the ATI 4870 sabin mentioned more expensive? because on the one hand it's a monopoly thing (no 10-20 manufacturers and lots of shops competing, just ONE model you can only order from apple themselves), on the other hand you've got special driver support which never comes cheap. plus the mac userbase concering highend GPUs is small as fuck. supply and demand, you know.
don't get me wrong, i actually like macs - in the same way that i like bimbos. nice, colorful and shiny things to ogle and fool around with, plus you can show them to your friends. until the day comes when you get a look under the surface, realize there's jack shit and exchange them for something decent

ishit has always been overpriced , just look what they are charging for the current gen ipod shuffle and how much they spend actually manufacturing it.
