Food is almost done. I just have to cook the rice. YUM![/quote]

Pretty food picture.

I didn't any pictures of the kitchen I will have to go back and check. If I am making something usually my kitchen is ok. I hand wash stuff as I am cooking so I have less work to do.

That is funny you are taking pictures of your food. I do that too sometimes.

You know what is really good. Butter fucking chicken. I can do a fine butter chicken if I do say so myself. I am queen of thin crust pizza too. If I had a wish it would be to eat half the stuff I make but alas it is not to be. Mostly if I spend a long time cooking something I am not hungry anymore, the smell and stuff. I would end up huge too. I think I use to much cheese. Sad Sometimes I make it for people and they are like "OMFG You made this" I must be one of the few women that actually use the bread machine on a reg basis for dough and stuff.

This stuff looked so much better IRL. I swear. I had a whole bunch more but I can’t find them.

Seafood Linguni. Prawns, salmon, crab and sprimp in a bermese sauce topped with motzza cheese and baked until it has a nice crust.

Different angle

Salmon stuffed with celanto, garlic and sun dried tomatos (syco doesn’t like fish)

Then you eat it in this room.

I also take pictures of things in my house I wanna change. Then I go to Home depot and take pictures of things I wanna buy and then photoshop them into the home picture. You have to be really carefull. Aparently, you aren’t allowed to take pictures in Home depot. The security guards chase you down and make you delete them. (happened to me) now I have to play the part of ninja and be really sneaky. Sometime I bring a friend to distract them while I take my pictures.

On topic
I still haven't made my tattoo yet. Anybody finds a cool one out there please post it. Very Happy

Thanks for the tidy house comment. Wasn’t clean enough for the my last guys mother. She complained about everything. She would pull out my fridge when she came over. I am pretty orginized. I like things to have have their own spot.

Yours looks good too. I saw some mushrooms. Lots of meat too. I see peppes too. It would look awsome on a plate next to a spring salad.

OK they were Onions.

There is nothing wrong living with your parents. I had friends living at home even when they were working and making good money. They were saving up for a downpayment.

Do your parents really throw plates at each other? I have thrown a glass jug of milk, chair, a knife at my sister when we were fighting. Who knows maybe your new g/f will have parents worse then yours. Your parents could be like a walk in the park for her maybe.

I got to see date-man yesterday to drop a cheque. He came over to chit chat. Nice guy but not my type.

It's really bad sometimes. My dad will make a joke and then chuckle and my mom will get furious and raise her voice. Then it escalates into a whole new stage of arguing.

At that point I laugh and try to divert their attention at me. (I’m an attention whore Razz)
Sometimes it works and they calm down, but other times they toss things at each other. My mom broke her glasses by just ripping them apart one time and started tossing mugs at my dad. Some broke Sad I had to clean it up after.

It can get really really bad sometimes. Mostly before guests come over. They rush, rush, rush to get things ready and everything and just twenty minutes before guest arrive, my parents snap. Sad And it’s a whole awkward evening.

It's disgusting. I hate bringing people over. I often wanted to have alcoholic parents that'd just come home from work and drown in the bottle. Y'know... anything to stop the fighting. It’s embarrassing.

But as I've been told many times, you can't choose your parents Sad So it's really unjust of me to complain like that.

I guess mine aren't that bad. They are very nice in front of people and when they are socializing. We the family is only nasty to each other. I my dad will walk backwards and walk into my mom and then yells at her to get outta the way. It can get really bad in the car. She is always telling him how to drive. Drives him nuts. But it is a crappy driver ( actually he bought a new truck and he is driving like a normal person now, but only when he drives the truck)

Can't you explain to a girlfriend ahead of time and prepare her? Before I have someone meet my parents they get a run down.

Don't say that.
Don't say this.
Don't use slang.
Don't wear this, or that.
Offer to do this, but don't do that.

It really isn't fair to the person is it.

How do you distract them you attention whore?

I never brought girls over to my place to meet my parents. Never. They [my folks] go away for the weekends every now and then and I can invite people over for a poker party or bring some people over to watch a movie.

All my dates never ended up in my place. God forbid. I did it once… and god damn it… I couldn’t answer all questions. I couldn’t handle it.

It was horrible.

I distract my folks by simply being me Very Happy. I toss things around. Make obnoxious voices. Yell here and there. Make obscene gestures. And they start to laugh. Monkey see Monkey do. Well… monkey mock. I can do pretty much anything to ease the tension in a room. I can even start singing Laughing ANYTHING that will make them yell at me and not each other. I even do it with friends. I’d rather be the one being insulted and yelled at than someone else, someone I know. Laughing I can take it Wink I have no self respect so it doesn’t matter to me anymore. Others… I see how their spirits die when someone say something awful to them… and it just hurts me to see that. Haha. Maybe I’m empathetic or something, or just pathetic for trying. Laughing

Very Happy

I would NEVER do what you do. That’s just awful. It adds pressure to the already build up pressure that arose from the day the event was planned. It’s a mental prison cell then. You can’t be yourself. You have to do everything to impress them. Your lexicon isn’t big enough so don’t even try to sound smart. Your fingers are long so you better eat slowly, you don’t want to drop the fork and spill everything, like WTF!

If anything I want to get married secretly. Only have my best mates around and then send wedding photos to my folks and family. Laughing With a big surprise banner. Very Happy

Syco, you're that old, eh? Laughing Laughing

@Injur

Laughing i guess so

I swear man. One time my mom caught me smokin a joint in my room in....grade 5 i think. Anyway, she broke out the wooden spoon and started wailing on me. She ended up breakin the spoon. Then she started in with the slipper and realized it was having no effect. So she unscrewed the broom stick and went to work on me.
She used to beat me for no reason...and excessively...hence the reason I dont talk to her anymore...plus, she's done some other things that I can never forgive her for.

You are probably right I shouldn’t do that. But I just get so nervous. He is better to be around if my mom isn’t there. He is better now after I started walking out on him. My Dad isa big snob and I think so many people try to be one but really they have nothing. He does have a lot of respect for usefull people tho. Like if someone is really good with their hands.

That is so true about peoples spirits dying a bit. Sometimes I feel like this paper doll who everybody is always ripping off pieces. Everything resets the next day but sometimes not all the pieces go back to where they should and some are still missing altogether. So people start ripping off pieces off a doll that isn't whole anyway.

Getting married in secret FTW. I think I wouldn’t even want to know that I was about to do it. You know just have him walk you into the place and do it. A total surprise. I think the beach would be cool. Just call a JP and get it done.

@syco
OHhh wooden spoon. Wooden spoon never hurt in my house. Usually that was a controlled spanking. It was the out of control hands, or the picking up and throwing is harsh too. Sometimes separation from people like that is the best thing I think. I guess there are things that people do you can’t forget or forgive. If she she had better parenting skills and wasn’t using shoes, brooms, and wooden spoons I bet you wouldn’t have been smoking a joint in your room. I didn' speak to my parents for a period of time too.
