No I am not offended.

I just get a little defensive when people say "Americans", hell that's me, but I'm never what people are talking about.

They think every American is the same, and they refuse to think otherwise.

I agree. Americans as individuals are cool. But as a whole, are blind and ignorant....

Like my cousins for example are world educated, they know about other countries, customs and americas place on the world stage. They can see the pro's and con's of their country. That however doesnt make them less American, just intelligent.
But the vast majority, from personal experience, are like weducks and completely ignorant to the outside world and world opinion.
I think those are the type of ppl most refer to when speaking in a negative way about Americans.

Lol I once went to Florida, family vacation thing. Anyway, I met this girl down there...i was oh, I dunno, bout 17, i think she was the same age. Anyway, after finding out where I was from and all about Toronto, she told me she was amazed we didnt live in igloos and that we had everything americans had. She thought we didnt even have electricity. Naturally, i thought she was joking but nope, this broad was serious.

thats cuz most southerners in america are dumbass's a good amount aren't but most are

the American dream is a piece of land a family & self sufficiency .. liberty to live as you choose & free from religious & political oppression ..

The American flag is a model of the American dream .. Franklins vision .. a town (the stars) and fields of hemp .. the stripes .. old dream long forgotten
