Pyreball? y it seems to be hit and miss for most, i don't mind it in the end it's not the main focus of the game anyway.

I couldn't even force myself to play past the first real battle.. Meh.. the first game from these devs I won't be buying any time soon.. Maybe when it's on sale, just for my collection.

A shame..the art style is awesome..

or maybe I'm just not in the mood for such a game atm..I dunno.. the gameplay is really limited and primitive as if it was made for smartphones.. I hoped they would make their new game more complex than the previous two and add more depth to gamepaly, exploration etc but alas, it's not the case...

Quite a boring game despite having some fantastic art and music. Sad

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

itd basically FFX's blitzball mixed wih Oregon Trail-esque gameplay ... definitely not for everyone ... love they went for something new with new genre mix instead of being one tick Pony making same games like before

Bastion was imo much worse when it came to repetitivness ....although need to get back to it one day and try to finish it

MMEEEHHHH, so all you do is prance around and try to get the ball in the thing? Laughing

This is a standard case of reviewers liking a game because it's by a respected studio and had nice artwork and music etc etc ... but if you expect to play a fun and non-repetitive game, look elsewhere. Thank fucking god for piracy!

Well it's pretty much just another take on turn based combat and the main focus is on the choose your own adventure VN style story anyway so i really don't get the complaints it's not very different from Banner Saga in this regard.

What does this have to do with turn based combat? It isn't turm based and it isn't combat.

It has more to do with some simple mobile games. Herpa derpa jump over the enemy to get the ball in the thing!

You are right it's more akin to atb or other active time takes than actual turn based combat.
And yeah it's a form of combat, that's what all team sports originally where a form of mock combat.
