It's really sad that they bring a cool game like this one to PC finally and it's locked to the Windows 10 Store. It doesn't bother me as much since I don't want to necessarily play it as I'm awful at fighting games, but it's pathetic and sad regardless. I'll stick to listening its sick soundtrack and watching the game every now and then.
Sorry for offtopic, but godamn that fucking Winstore!
Uninstalled the game from System/Apps, because i found no option in the Winstore directly.
Looked again on the store page, and it says its still installed, yet i have no button anymore to open the app. Neither is there a button anymore to download it again.
I think you guys are misunderstanding how the game's "f2p" model works. Without paying for anything it's basically a glorified demo. You can pay $50 (actually, $60 since Shadow Jago is sold separately) to unlock all the characters which is basically like buying a game, and in its current state it has more value than SFV. Like any other game, if you're not satisfied with the price just wait for a sale.

Oh, fair enough then. Thought it was 25*$5 for the complete pack, or maybe $100 for everything.
Still it's locked to the winstore... blegh

the "problem" here is -> most of us have accepted steam in the last years. but the only reason why -> we can get games there very cheap (or lets say we were able to get cheap games before all the region lock stuff shitfuck etc). without the cheap games aspect everyone would be still raging about online drm and no chance to sell your games after you finished them
No, the problem here is Microsoft blatently fucking everyone over.
They've been trying for years to get a piece of the portal pie - but they're like 10 years too late.
They've seen Apple lock everything to their app store, gaining total control over what can and can't be installed on an Apple device, and they want that level of control.
The problem is, Apple have always been like that - ever since the Mac became mainstream. Steam is a very mature platform, without any constraints on how stuff is coded, as long as it works and can use the Steam API - which is pretty much anything.
Microsoft, on the other hand, want to shoehorn as much control as possible, by making developers use the UWC framework, which has heaps and heaps of well documented flaws and niggles. It's a miracle that DX12 wasn't made to be UWC exclusive.
Microsoft want to be able to say yes or no to the things installed on a PC, they want to know WHAT is installed, and they want to know who and how it's used. Exactly like Apple.
Basically, Microsoft think that by emulating Apple, they will be as 'successful' in manipulating the user experience as Apple are.
And that is why people are raging about forcing a very new, very flaky and unnecessary portal AKA DRM system upon us. And yes, Online DRM sucks, no matter how much spin is thrown out by PR and Microsoft 'supporters'.
Steam was initially scorned by many, for the same reason. The big difference is, developers/publishers eventually chose to use Steam as a method of selling their products, and we as consumers accepted this. Microsoft are not offering it as a choice. You either use their system, or you don't get to play the game.
Of course, this argument can be used for Uplay, Origin etc. And you'd be right. But they are publishers. They have the right to use whatever system they want, as they choose to do it that way - and besides, you can buy a lot of those game on Steam anyway.
But Microsoft want to somehow corner the market to only use their store - which will never happen, unless they somehow block stuff being installed if it doesn't use their store and UWC. Which I can actually imagine happening in a few years from now.
This is not ok.

nanana, ms already said they dont force devs to put their stuff into uwp when they want to publish them. nobody is forced to use that, but its clear that ms' own stuff will use that
we will see how it turns out and if the store becomes a real alternative to actual plattforms (for xbox gamers it is already with crossdevice buy/play etc, although the conent isnt there yet) when it gets it promised improvements. as it is atm -> crap
im having an issue, besides not being able to connect to windows live, i have an issue where i cant pass the benchmark but when I go into training it locks to my refresh rate 144 and runs reallly fast, the only way i was able to solve it was to put my monitors refresh down to 60hz. But I still fail the test the benchmark for some reason.

Lots of people have this problem alot of random fixes on the forum for this one. I fixed it just by resigning in and out of my windows live account. That does not change anything tho, I cannot play online at all lol

Starting today, Jago will be the free to play character on XBOX One and Windows 10. Moving forward, we’ll be rotating a new character for you to try from the entire cast every Wednesday.
Previously I believe the free character used to be rotated every 3-4 weeks or so.
Just FYI i was able to figure out how to play online. I turned on windows firewall and it worked. . And if I turn it off it won't connect online to xbox live.

What about W7?.. Will they do like QUANTUM BREAK that was W10 exclusive only to go to W7 later?..
