Ihave burned this release in first time of a revritable cd & after working test on a normal 700 mb cd and work fine (look my older post in this tread), the problem is not to burn it , it's to read it on a recent cd or dvd reader, by reading on a older cdrom will not work. to burn i have used the alcohol clone and a emprex dvd writer at slowest speed possible, and read it in dvd drive work fine. so if by you that dosn't work, than, open the cd one image with winiso and ad it a folder with the mini image burn, install the game copy the mini image file to a folder on C drive and load the mini file to play.

DVD's are cheaper if you go by cost per MB, not per disk.
i mean sure 50 pack DVD's is more expensive (not much though) but i can put 6 normal cd's on one DVD.
So buying one 50 pack of DVD's is like buying six 50 packs of regular cd-r's.
Can you tell which one is cheaper now?

i dont have a big hdd, and i do like to burn it all to have a small collection, so, sure im playing it under alcohol, but its taking me about 5gb of waste space (2.5 gb installed + 2.5 gb of images)
and sure i can burn cd 2,3 and 4, but i dont until crack is out so i can do the full job 
edit: oh, and Raven737, DVD-R's cheaper than CD-R's? where do you live? inside a dvd-r factory? |
You don't need to mount all 4 cds, just mount cd1 - saves you 1.8gb. Better still, get the mini image (155Kb) and mount that - saves you 2.5gb. I don't think you'll get a working cd1 copy by burning, you wasted 9 cds there.
Where I live I buy a DVD-R for about the cost of 2 CD-Rs.

NEW version of clone CD 5.0.2.2 have removed the black listing and can copy safdysk3, the virtual drive emulator can be downloadet and installed separat if needet.

Hey people it is me saitx writing. i am a friend of splendours. I have played sims over his house and it is the original version.WEll i dont know why u dont want to believe him. anyways maybe he cant prove it to u but u should learn where he downloaded the original version or you can just pay 50 bucks and get the original game. for all features they(maxis) promissed to us this ver..and this ver is here but like beta..because i can't find them to play..and in here i am asking my questions them but somebody shoo me..also they aren't site manager or forum manager..also they don't remember that!
so am i smart?? so im orderin' and waitin' don't care of course,do it???

damn, your english is even worse then mine hehe, anyways, man i realy dont believ they would release this game with all those features now, i mean is all about the money my friend, why release it with all the features now if they can wait a while then release a exp and make a couple more billion dollars?
just wait and see, two more months and there will be a "sims go to work" exp or something.

The Sims 2 - Sims Bad farts Unleashed (The ultimate addon) [includes the best selling 1001 Beanz Recipes Expansion pack]

i burned the whole 4 cd's and intalled the game with them
then i opened the registry and i changed "CD DRIVE" and "INSTALLED FROM" to my virtual cd and i mounted the IND mini image on it and.....
¡its working!
2.5 GB cleared and everything in the game is working
my english isnt very good since im from mexico
¡ARRIBA MEXICO CABRONES!

wouldn't it be easier for him to write it in his language then anyone who spoke his language could translate it for us. I'm sure this board is diverse enough to have more than 2 members with the same nationality. Sure it's an English speaking board but if you can't understand English and when you try to make sense and people just ridicule you why not write it in your own language and then hopefully a lad who speaks and writes the same language as you would do us the pleasure of translating or maybe even helping you!
Heck it’s worth a try. And it’s sure is more resourceful than trying to communicate in a language that isn’t your forte. So write it in your language… and get the help and the answers you want!
