Edit: Disregard - the fg selective lang packs are needed during install, and not used with the final installed game.
Anyone who grabbed the fitgirl repack of this, can you tell me where the language bigfiles are supposed to go? I accidentally used selective download to get the whole thing without any lang packs, which led to the game not starting. I've managed to separately acquire the eng lang file but it still isn't working with the file in either the root folder or the lang resources folder.

Yes, what's with the uptick of these retarded styles in recent years? Is it all trying to copy fucking Fortnite and Overwatch? 
Before that, it was blocking fucking graphics, trying to copy the Minecraft style...

It's easier and most importantly cheaper to copy what works instead of having to invest into new, creative, original ideas. It's really all about ca$h.

Yes, but they could have "copied" the normal style of the original games, or the modern Tomb Raider games (e.g. normal world with normal looking people). The fact that this looks the way it does is likely they copied the current trending straemer favorite craps. And I guarantee you, having a normal style (and reusing assets from existing games) is much cheaper.

Just finished this one and it was really good. Took me twice as long as the first one (~32h with 98% completion).
The game runs great and is beautiful (had maybe 2-3 glitches that required restart of the game), game mechanics are the best in the series, the story is interesting (ending was quite satisfying), but... Lara behaving as a Rambo (video Oil Refinery scene) and killing everyone seems out of place sometimes.
Generally exploration, puzzles, tombs were the best parts and that alone is worth playing.
I hope, if there is ever the next game, it will be closer to the first one, more linear and definitely shorter.
