Hey I just bought the game and it keeps telling me I need to uninstall my virtual drives before I can play. Is there a way to do this without uninstalling my software?

From EA support conserning the crash to desktop:
This issue is typically caused by a conflict with the video card or video card drivers. Make sure your video card meets the requirements for the game, and that your drivers are the newest version available from the manufacturer.
The supported video cards are as listed below:
ATI Radeon
*
X700 (PCIe), X600 (PCIe), X800 XT Platinum Edition, X800 PRO, X300 series.
*
9800 series, 9700 series, 9600 series, 9559 (RV350LX), 9500 series, 8500 seies.
NVIDIA GeForce
*
6600 (PCIe), PCX 5900 (PCIe).
*
5800 series (AGP).
*
6800 Ultra, 6800 GT, 6800.
*
FX 5950 series, FX 5900 series, FX 5700 series.
If you are not using one of these video card chipsets, the game may run improperly or may not run at all. The game was tested to communicate properly with the aforementioned chipsets using the newest drivers. If you have one of these cards but are still experiencing the issue, it is likely that the drivers you have are not the newest manufacturer version.
Always blaming the video drivers...lol...maybe i should submit "bad crack" as an answer since everybody here were asking for a nuke for bad crack

Wow...you guys should take a look at the forums on gamespot, IGN, Planet Battlefield....EA are getting ass rape by everybody who bought the game

why are people ging on about bad crack, i've played it loads with no probs whatsoever?, its not crashed once? -so cannot be the crack?

I think EA introduced a new protection against pirate games because yesterday i could join every server except some of the official one instead, today i can't join neither one unofficial server and i tried at least 15 of them.

I'm just sayin' it seems a little weird that this site sells serials for games... at close to the cost of (some of) the games. It just smells a little fishy to me, a place that sells only the serials for games and not the games themselves. I'd be interested to know if this thing is against any publisher('s') policy.
It kinda seems like one of those sites that tries to sell warez, except with a bit of a... smarter (for lack of a better word) twist.
Anyway, I'll get back on topic though. Sorry fellas, just my two cents.

Dumb question: Have EA done something about the fact that no one with GF4 gfx card can play the game?
It didn´t work on the demo... have they changed it for the full game?

No it has been known for 2 months that GF4 wont be able to play the game due to they lack pixel shader.

No it has been known for 2 months that GF4 wont be able to play the game due to they lack pixel shader. |

They are not called EA servers.. but they are authenticated.. each country has some.. even if its not under the EA name..
You cant set up a ranked server without EA.. they aint paid for by EA.. but the ISPS who set them up are in close contact with EA
