Moved to Zaviel. Good thing about this is that I finally was able to create a character named Airbag. Someone beat me to that during release on Icewatch..

Depends on what level are you, but as dps, it can take a hours or you simply wont find any group. Then its best to ask in guild or on chat.
Or play as healer or tank, then its different story. Support also get higher chance to get in group then dps.

Hm, was thinking about starting to play a new mmo.. this.. or tera ?
Which is more fun and less grindy (less idiotic kill 1000 mobs quests)(i realize that this is more classic mmo.. and tera has a more action oriented combat system.. but still wondering).

Playing Tera right now. Combat is actually pretty fun in that game, but the atmosphere tends to seriously get on my nerves (2 of the 7 races, for example, look either like a children's toy, or a paedophiliac's dirty dream). Quests are grindy, that's for sure - probably not more than in other MMOs, though. Also, there seems to be some potential in the guild system - there are wars, some kind of voting for positions on the server, stuff like that. No factions (like Alliance/Horde, etc.), it's totally FFA. After around 12 level everyone can "go outlaw", which enables him to hit every other player, but also acquire infamy, which can lead to some consequences. "Outlaw mode" works like a buff, can be turned on/off. All in all, I'm kinda enjoying it for the time being. Not sure how long it's gonna last, though.

Rift has a lot of the usual "kill x amount of this" quests but it also has a bunch creative ones. Tera has very boring quests but better combat.

Tera is all about nice graphics and nothing else. Combat is my opinion very good made, but u can't move while attacking and that is pissing me off (well u can, but only millimeter per millimeter ).
Quests are boring, very grind oriented. First ~10 hours it looks and feels good, but after that, that feeling fades away. And not to mention end game, you have nothing to do in game once you reach max level (it consist only of few dungeons and some event and that's basically all it has in end game).
While Rift on the other hand, its pretty full of content and content is regularly added to the game. And best thing of all, the first 5 quests are not about killing butterfly's. Everything in game feels alive, dynamic and simply far better made than in Tera.

I rather keep my fully endgame raid geared ranger then to replace those by greens and then quit within a few weeks again 
Tho the dates on achievements matter most anyway, there are our shard first and second kills logged

what about trion website? defiance is like 3.24~ pounds, cant check rift as i own it, but cant be expensive as its f2p

Yeah not sure either did look but cause I have it you cant see the price, I offered defiance and rift to him for $9.50  |
