Yeah, judging by a couple of matches the game is definetily pretty good and the Free4all-gamemode seems like a good mode to play while drinking beer and smoking something with friends.
Does anyone know if the EASports Online-thingy works with Vengeance's release? I didn't install it but I might if it works though my guess is that it won't. Am I right?

Ok maybe im a moron, but when one of my guys takes control of the puck, unless im already that, guy I cant control him. Anyone else having this problem? Seems fun but not being able to use everyone sucks my ass.

i can control fine. although it does suck. forinstance if you just stand behind their goal they dont make an effort to tackle you, also when u move up and down (side to side) behind their goal it goes out of sync and u end up around the side. also player formations suck and finally, ive seen the puck cross their goal line at least 3 times !, when it was on the edge of my stick another when i shot and it rolled across from left to right post (white clearly visible) and cant remember the 3rd. also the fights suck. the only nice thing was the glass.

Gah, got the gamepad problem.. Though I only have a Gravis Gamepad (not quite enough buttons, but it works) and the controller goes haywire in game. It's like it's pressing the direction button in all directions at once.. So weird.

question, in the free for all game mode, how do you select a gamepad to play with the player chosen? it shows up as keyboard, but cant figure out how to change this?? also can i play with more then 1 player? because i select the first player, then try to click on any other # square and nothing happens. it counts down 5 seconds then goes to the next screen to start the game. then im iin the game, and i cant control my player because keyboard is selected.. yet pausing it no options to choose controller !!
question #2 .. how do you turn off puck shadow?
question #3 .. can you choose manual line changes? or is it always set to auto?

never mind found all the answers :
1) press the deke/hit button on the gamepad (controller icon will then appear)
2) puck shadows can NOT be turned off.. wtf !
3) press the modifier + the up/down/left/right on the d-pad .. this blows bigtime !!!
lots of things i dont like about this game.. few nice things like the graphics.

Anyways... this games ok if u like nhl i guess.. nothing special imho.. typical EA "Upgrade" game

Check your controls, you might have it locked on your center/left/right wing.

Becouse the swedish version will be out in a month, if you are swe you SHOULD know this, always the same every year, as for all games that gets a touch of swedish meatballs.

Hey, I got the Vengeance version of NHL 2005, and when i click on the icon, it says to insert the correct disc, while NHL 2005 Disc 2 (burned) is already in the Drive and/or it's mounted.
I'm very confused??

thats because your a noob. Insert the crack from the directory inside the cd and copy into the game dir.
ANYONE FIND ANY REVIEWS ONLINE????
