How the fuck can you copyright a word?
The word 'wasteland' existed for hundreds of years at least.

Ofc you can copyright/trademark a word and a logo so nobody can make commercial use of it. It then depends on the money spent and the variation of copyright/trademark.

They didn't drop it, they settled, a completely different legal concept.

It's true they have settled, but lets be honest here, they tried to susspend the game devlompent but court rejected it,they wouldn't prefered to settle if they were so sure about the whole thing.

Strange...according to the Steam forum the free weekend is the original WL2 and not the director's cut. I didn't think the original was even available anymore.

... Fargo...
For 3D models from AAA titles, sure, but your game isn't a AAA, so why the hell are you even talking about this.

I'm pretty sure they announced that during the Kickstarter. The idea was to crowdsource assets, and then those assets would be later sold on the Unity store.

Old game I know, but had a hankering to play it again.
Wasteland.2.Directors.Cut-CODEX 11.2 gig
Wasteland.2.Directors.Cut-GOG 6.5 gig
Presumably the Codex release is not multi. I have never known them to do that. So why the difference? The crack is only a few meg.
Cheers

Thanks, I will go for the GOG then. Probably buy it later, it's certainly worth it.

Ages? They last updated in October. And it's generally been every two months for the last few updates.
