Jeez.. gimme a break. I remember when my classmates and I were 14. We looked like 17-18 and were horny as hell and daydreaming of mature women having sex with us and teaching us all kinds of kinky stuff .
@chiv | Quote: | | the guy tried to molest a young teenage boy.. |
I bet if it was a sexy milf the "boy" in question wouldn't even be complaining about it decades after it happened Although, I'm not so sure.. America is fucked this way unlike Europe. I remember reading about the boy who had a consensual sex with his young teacher and was quite happy about it but then his mom found out about them, got her in trouble and this cocksucker didn't even support her. He was fine with her sucking his dick and fucking her but not man enough to stand up for her when overprotective parents screamed "molestation! Our poor baby!". What a cowardly cunt.
I wonder... why all of the sudden almost everyone has started coming out with the stories of supposed "molestation" or" sexual harassment" that allegedly happened decades(!) ago and can't even be proved, he said she said. And whatever happened to innocent until proved guilty..Kevin shouldn't even have bothered talking about it but I guess it was hardly a choice considering this new mass I-got-sexually-harassed-an-dmolested-30-something-years-ago hysteria
There is a term for that in psychology..Not mass hysteria, something else. I forgot what it is.. Add to that publicity which often gets material support for a "poor victim" and a chance to squeeze money out of the accused.

Well, not every kid fantasises about a grown man fondling his junk, dude..
I certainly advocate innocent until proven guilty, but in this case, with Spaceys first response not being "I didn't do it" but rather "sorry kid, I don't remember all that, so I apologise", it certainly does imply he knows himself and the kind of shit he does... And unlike you, I just can't explain it all away as being acceptable because secretly all kids apparently want an adult to force themselves onto them...

That's not what I said though.
And being 14-15 is hardly a kid. Not so long ago "kids" that age got married and had children of their own. I don't blindly advocate for sexual relationships with minors (not in all countries btw, see age of consent in Europe) but I believe this should be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Difference is that when you hear from the 'victim' about what happened, nothing really happened. Spacey came on to him but backed off when he saw it wasn't mutual. If that's abuse, anyone can become a rapist... He was also 26 at the time.
Polanski was 41 when he raped the 13 year old girl.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Goddamit i'm getting so tired of these accusations. Seriously.
Its really bad the kid was 14, but nothing happened for fuck sake, the rate things are going every type of advancement will be made to look like sexual harassment. Also what the fuck was a 14 year old doing at that party and spending it in his bedroom?
I've never been at a party with 14 year olds except when i was fucking 14.

| Quote: | Mere hours after they announced plans to end “House of Cards” with its upcoming sixth season, Netflix is reportedly moving forward on a proposed spin-off to the political beltway drama.
Media Rights Capital, which produces the series, is in early stages of development on at least three different potential ideas – the most notable being one revolving around Doug Stamper, the political aide-de-camp played by actor Michael Kelly. That take has Eric Roth, an executive producer on the first four seasons, set to write.
At least two other spinoff ideas are also being explored but don’t have writers attached. All will take place in the same universe as ‘Cards’.
Despite the recent allegations made against Kevin Spacey, all indications are the show was originally planning to end with its sixth season and move into spin-off territory.

Spin-off
But his reaction to the accusations really makes it seem like he knew he was into some shit back then, if not he'd probably sue the guy accusing him.
Sadly not that surprising with all the booze and drugs involved in that universe that stuff like this didn't start to blow up sooner.

| Quote: | Production company MRC and Netflix have released a joint statement confirming that production is shutting down on the sixth season of “House of Cards” with cast and crew told today that filming has been suspended indefinitely.
The move follows the allegations of sexual harassment against star and producer Kevin Spacey coming to light on Sunday evening. Yesterday Netflix announced that the new season would be the show’s last and earlier this morning that they were mulling the idea of potential spin-offs. At the time there wasn’t talk of a shutdown.
The show had only just begun filming this month in Maryland on a new batch of thirteen episodes to debut sometime next year. It’s unclear what will happen to it now – filming might resume in a few weeks, Spacey could exit the series entirely while the season is reworked, or the whole season could be abandoned. In the statement the companies say:
| Quote: | | “MRC and Netflix have decided to suspend production on House of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew.” |

In the current witch hunt climate, denying it happened would be worse. Maybe he thought it would be quicker to just apologize? Sometimes the best choice is doing nothing, he knows that now | No, fuck that. IF you didn't do it and don't have any skeletons in your closed deny it and sue his/her ass into oblivion, it's not like he's short on cash like a normal person would.
The fact that he didn't more or less tells that if he's not guilty in this one there are probably a few others in which he knows someone's got him. And his statement kinda prevents him getting THAT much shit if someone else steps forward... "Hey I don't remind that one too but I apologize, it was a horrible thing I did, like I already said the last time and bla blabla..."

Yeah, he obviously wanted to have sex with Kevin Spacey, we get your innuendo just fine.
You can twist the narrative however you like to fit your preconceptions considering how much missing information there is ( who brought/told him to be there, did he willingly stay longer, did Spacey plan any of it, etc. ), otherwise you can just wait for the police investigation to be done just like I would hope people to be doing..

Oh look another one As I've expected... It looks more and more like mass hysteria, witch hunting and attention seeking in hopes of improving ones mediocre career (like dat gay actor dude who prolly looked 18 at this party ) and all.

I expected it would happen

Someone grabs your crotch you either politely ask him to remove his hands or hit him in his face. What you don't do is wait years to finally tell the media about this when its convenient.

What innuendo? Why is it common lately to take everyone's word for face value immediately?

It's the whole #MeToo movement.
Once it hit Winestein - untouchable god - it seemed to be ok to attack other high class celebrities because Listen and Believe is strong. There's a chance a lot of these aren't legitimate which can and will fuck up any real accusations.
Kevin Spacey with the kid doesn't shock me.
Jeremy Piven didn't shock me.
Andy Dick did what Dick does and it doesn't shock me.
What shocks me is how everyone is being attacked and harassed and shamed for their past actions and everyone is saving face and being pro-anti-harassment without doing anything to stop anything that could currently be going on. It's all about the past transgressions which to be frank... if the kid said anything to his parents... and the parents didn't even go to the cops... that's not on the actor who was drunk and blacked it out for the past 30 years. It's also not on the Kid to live with someone potentially sticking their dick in their pubescent mouth... it's on the parents... who left the kid alone at a party... never bothered to pick him up... never bothered to check in...
And spacey being hit hard for his past is laughable... Polanski is not in the media and if he were he'd be in the same box as spacey which is fucking wrong. One is an actual rapist... the other was a horn dog who knew when to stop. Same with other recent accusations. Groping/Kissing/not actually raping anyone and they get treated as rapists.
Look at that game jurno who got hit few months back... lost his job and everything because he was flirting with someone on twitter and got labeled as a predator... proof came out he was just terrible at flirting... and still was condemned.
also #xxax i get your questioning... but a kid... at a grown up party... bored... goes and finds a tv and doesn't matter where it is and just does what a kid does. Nothing really wrong with it. When I was 12/13 my friends mom had a psx in her bedroom... we'd all just go in and play it when she was at work... like... when you're older you understand boundaries... but as a kid... especially thirty years ago when you could run around the street at night and not be worried... no real consequences... It didn't happen 3 weeks ago when you can ask why is a 14 year old in his bedroom... doesn't he know better?

My problem with the MeToo campaign is - it is hard to draw a clear line. What counts as harassment, and what doesn't. I am of the opinion that rape should receive very harsh punishment - but on the other side it has to be proven (and no, words can't constitute rape).
My personal story is this - I have gotten in to very good shape these past years and I have been groped multiple times by both men and women (I'm completely hetero, btw, and pretty manly and muscly too). I usually get groped once every 2-3 parties I go to. I understand, how this bothers many, I don't really pay attention to it, and forget about it within minutes tops. Drunken people on dancefloors do all sorts of shit to draw attention to themselves. I'm not some easy whore, either, I'm very conservative when it comes to my personal life - few partners, only meaningful relationships, I dress conservatively, etc.
But I also understand for some this would be different. Me being a man, I could easily physically protect myself, if the groping actually became bothersome. That is not the case for women or weaker men.
Very hard to draw a line.

It really isn't.
Keep your damn hands of other people. It's pretty simple.
Just because you (GENERAL SPEAKING) feel it's ok, does not mean it is.
Never have, never will be.
I honestly can't apprehend what I'm reading here. A 14 year old kid was invited to a party and people here say that he should have known that it was a fuck invitation from Spacey?
More and more people are now coming out and saying that he is some kind of pervert.
It's Cosby, Weinstein etc all over again.
Remember Cosby? When the first allegation broke, everyone went - "yeah sure, it's all bs". And then it turned out that he was actually drugging and raping all these women.

I think they are trying to kill him off early and continue the season without Spacey.
Right now they are going through his contract to see whether that is possible or not.

His point still stands. What was a 14 year old doing at such a party? And if you are there, why go to a bedroom? His entire story seems weird to me - there's something more to this that he's not sharing with us. In any case, nothing happened.
