Hahaha. I'm not gonna go blasting any squirrels. They're harmless (so far) and just no reason to. I just love target shooting (clay, paper, steel) so those suit me just fine. When my daughter and son are older and bigger, I'll be teaching them the basics of shooting and if they enjoy it, then I'll have a range partner.
One of our neighbor friends has a daughter in high school that shoots clays competitively. It's fun times.

I ended up selling my AR for some massive profit after the work I put into it. My city just doesn't have any good enough ranges to go pop rounds off that don't go further out than 75 yards. Still got my 12g over/under for clays and my 2 9mms though. The Sig 229 will never leave me. Walther PPS is what I carry with me for CC and it's almost disappears it's so damn thin.
I totally understand that. It took me a while of being here before finding out exactly where some ranges I could use were. Fortunately I have a neighbor that lives across the street that is part of a hunting club and they have some land they own with a 300 yard range carved out. It's about 45 mins away but its free.
There's another place that goes out to about 700 yards but its about an hour away and costs $30 for an all-day pass. Still worth it to go once in a while for sure though.

New to the Sig Family. P320RX + 8 Mags + a handmade leather OWB holster. Also has the Apex trigger and forward reset kit. Picked it up from a local cop I know who works at my gun store for 700 bucks. Like 1500 worth of shit here I got like half off.
Red dot is motion activated. If I turn it on and leave it on, it'll self turn off when no moviement detected for 2 minutes, when I pick it back up to holster it, light turns back on.
That is a helluva deal! I've heard great things about the 320. Man you got lucky hehe.
I picked up a Canik TP9SF Combat Elite just a bit ago since I've read some great things about them. I've yet to try it out, but the trigger is amazing on it with an awesome reset, too. I threw a Vortex Venom on it as well.
Let me know how this shoots and as soon as I get some time (hopefully sometime this year) I'll let you know as well .

I put about 250 rounds through it yesterday alongside whatever I shot through my p229. 229 was still the better shooter but that's apple to oranges. The 320, as far as all the striker fire guns I've had like the Walther PPS which is what I usually carry, Smith Wesson MP, Springfield , easily one of the best striker fired guns I've ever shot. It's smooth as hell and was hitting about 2" groups around 30 feet.
Ahh. This Canik will be the first striker pistol I’ve owned as I just could not get into Glocks. The triggers on them just didn’t work for me and I tried a lot of them before making this decision.
The SFX is actually the next pistol I’d be looking at if the Elite Combat goes well. I’d also consider investing into the Taylor freelance mag extensions too. They have a +9 base plate that works for the SFX and apparently the one I have too. A bit on the pricey side but I’ve heard nothing but great things about them so sometime down the road perhaps.
I’m hoping to be able to try out the suppressor on that AR I posted in the next couple of weeks. My FFL is gonna do a range trip with me since it’s still in ATF jail right now.

You're gonna love the 226. I have one in the "extreme" model and really love it. Got a threaded barrel for it so I can use my suppressor on it as well. Everyone that has tried it has done very well with it.
Side note, the Canik shot very well. I LOVE the trigger and the reset on it. It's incredible. If you get a chance to at least check one out at a LGS, please do.

My co-worker has one and we're gunna hit up the range some time and let loose.
You actually went through the process to get a suppressor? Fucking retarded what you have to go through to get those even though they don't work nearly the way fucking movies make them seem. God damn scare tactics.
I am trying to find a compensator for the barrel though. It's a silentco barrel.
Getting a suppressor actually isn’t that difficult. A bit costly, yes, but most of the “retardedness” comes from the long ass wait times for the ATF to review it. The average for a Form 4 filing is 9-12 months. And yes I’ve gone thru it once already and I’m part of a trust that has some as well so at this moment I have 2 of them. One for my pistol calibers and one for my 308 and 556 calibers. The latter I swap between a 20” AR setup and a bolt action 308. I’d love to get one more can so I wouldn’t have to swap between those two.
I have 2 more on wait time as well that should become approved around May of next year. You can see what it’s for on the previous page towards the bottom. 2 pics are attached to my post. Can’t wait! But gotta wait heh.

It's basically a mixture of all the best things about CZ and Sig molded into one.
I just got it and am going to the range on Friday to see how it goes. So far all the functions are stupid crisp down to the trigger break and everything.
Was also one of the only guns to completely make it through MAC's gauntlet testing.
Starts at like 5:13. Absolutely whooped the Sig's ass.
Interesting. And appealing for sure. Budget is tight as of late (I've sold things to pay for the things I've shown recently) so no large purchases for us for a while. My FFL is still supposed to do a range trip with me so I can try out the suppressor on the AR build on the previous page (the FDE one). I just really want to try it out. Gives me more to anticipate around May of next year hehe.
