At least I know why my performance tanked compared to last weekend. My 3070 can't keep up anymore without DLSS.
That's weird, what resolution are you playing on?
I have a 3060 Ti and getting nearly constant 80 fps @1080p (I've capped the framerate in-game) and solid frametime with most settings maxed out except for 3 or 4 of them turned down from Ultra to High.
I've been playing since week 1 of the beta with no AI upscaling technique enabled, and DLAA enabled separately (changed it today to FSR AA because of this bug).
1440p. Had everything on ultra and fps capped at 80. Basically zero problems a week ago. Tried to play a bit today and the performance was all over the place for some reason. GPU running 100%, fps 40-60. Image quality was blurry too.
Oh well, those small maps were becoming tiresome pretty quickly anyway. I miss the old battlefield feeling, BF42 wingwalk never forget. BF1 was the last battlefield I really enjoyed. I guess BFV was decent too.
Woaaa... this is so bad. Cluttered mess... Can't find the flow there. Kinda helped to cure myself from thoughts about buying that game any time soon...
Thanks EA.

Same, but for me it happened when I realized I have to enable secure boot and install kernel bs virus on my PC.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D / MSI Gaming X Slim GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER / ASRock B650 PRO RS / Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 / G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 / Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB / SeaSonic VERTEX GX-850 850W Gold / Lian Li LANCOOL 216
Yeah, I'm not going to be uninstalling the Nvidia app for the game. I don't need DLSS but I found that running it at 150% render resolution with DLSS quality achieved the best results visually. Otherwise it just looks noisey to me. Oh well.

wat is the problem with enabling that? apart from linux support
delete everything there. DLSS/DLAA will become available again.
Guise, check again, it was fixed for me this morning (without doing anything, Nvidia App still installed). Both DLSS and DLAA can be enabled again (mutually exclusive, of course).
Good analysis on why Rush in BF6 feels weak compared to what it was in BFBC2 and BF3 (BF4 started the tendency to neglect the mode), where there were maps specifically designed for Rush (doesn't seem to be the case for BF6) like Valparaiso, Arica Harbor, Operation Metro, Grand Bazaar, Noshahr Canals, etc.
I never was a big fan of Rush, though, so I'd rather have it this way with maps properly designed for the more sandbox-y Conquest, which always has been my preferred mode.

Just be aware Enders is a known cheater whos part of the TEAMEXE clan. Tell tale sign is the 1:18 when he's shooting at someone and suddenly snaps to a player that isn't on the minimap.
I don't know who that player is but doesn't look like cheat to me. There's no enemy there where he snaps, only a friendly. He's shooting there because thats where an enemy could come from there, I guess.

Yep, not only that, if you check carefully he actually gets the incoming damage indicator from that direction which is where he immediately snaps to (probably an enemy shooting from a much longer distance).
I've been watching Enders gameplay for some time now and I don't know that he uses hacks. He's a try hard sweat though, and he himself admits it in some of his videos or live streams when it's relevant to what is been discussed.
On a different note, here's a clip relevant to many of our forum members (myself included )
Also, first nasty bug discovered, apparently it's triggered by interrupting a slide while shooting and fixed by performing a single full slide.
I've never got this bug (that I know of) as I very rarely slide and when I do it's to quickly get into cover.
The "Are you to old video" was actually really good. I never thought about it the way he explains tbh. Also, my gf went "What the fuck?" when he said he was 37 and the grave is just around the corner" (she is 35)
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
But... at least the freaking maps were huge, classic BF size.
Huge, sure, and also arguably (though not really) the worst map design ever seen since the franchise started back in 2002. They literally had to re-design and re-release several of them for the next 2 years after initial release.
Anyway, regardless of the real intentions behind the "leak" of this new info about the rest of the maps, I think it helps establish that there are big maps in this new game, in the classic BF way. Of course we still have to see how well (or bad) they play.
