Really nice art in this game, uses Unity engine though customized a bit from the looks of it and it also uses DirectX 11 which I've not seen used in many Unity engine games though it does support that API.

Dreamfall Chapters - Book Two
Spoiler: | |
Downsampling with Unity Engine can be tricky in newer builds of that engine so while this is DX9 and GeDoSaTo works with it I'm only using SMAA and Asmodean's newest post-processing file. - https://github.com/PeterTh/gedosato/pull/274
(Not yet merged with the main GeDoSaTo branch so it has to be downloaded separately, unsure if GeDo itself is in a dormant state of development as I haven't seen any updates on it in nearly three months now.)

Elder Scrolls Online
Spoiler: | |
Using ReShade with this was tricky as the game seems to use some form of protection so files added to the folder where the game exe is will usually cause the game to crash but on the ReShade.me forum there was a post about just adding the dxgi.dll file first and then copying over Sweet.fx and the other files after starting the game (Changing from borderless to windowed and back again to reset SweetFx/ReShade and cause it to reload the shaders.) but much for just SMAA but it did work.
Performance is excellent though, constant 60 FPS even with view distance tweaks to the config file, some lag however so sometimes hits won't connect and that sort of thing.

One final batch of Elder Scrolls Online images, unless I find some more interesting area ha ha.
(Getting tired of mushroom-Morrowind. )
Spoiler: | |
As part of the Ebonheart Pact I won't really see the more exotic areas like Summerset Isle or Elsewyr until I hit max level of 50 and finish the storyline for the current faction, then it should be possible to play one of the other sides as a Veteran character but that's going to be months from now, at best.
(Doing alright so far though, bit tired of iron tier weapons and armor but steel is currently outside of the level range to say nothing about Ebony or Daedric or whatever the high-end armors are made of.)
Enjoying the game though, it's a bit slower than the single-player TES games since it is a MMO but it's not bad, sometimes it does get a bit comical though when near the end of a quest a boss appears and other players rush in to kill the thing, or when one boss goes down only for another player to immediately reach the same quest stage thus spawning said boss again.
(Well boss and boss, these aren't epic raid demi-god challenges, at least for now and some areas actually have to be soloed whereas others can be more open.)

That's what I call a great choice. They don't make 'em like this anymore really.
You could've used the Gold HD Mod though (for the uber textures only), it's pretty amazing imo, without butchering the original style =)

Yeah it nearly looks like a PS2 game at times (Although the textures are sharper and the 3D details are more rounded / have more polygons.) although it makes use of various shaders which I don't think the PS2 could have handled (and the PC version supports up to 4x SSAA and 4096x4096 shadows) but that doesn't help the character models and 3D stage details much.
I would say it was done to ensure the PS3 and X360 version maintained steady 60 FPS but the game is actually locked at 30 FPS so it can't be that.
Actually come to think of it the style of the game reminds me of early 3D hentai games, primarily from Illusion Soft or what they were called.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illusion_%28company%29
(Although I guess the same can be said about many of the earlier Japanese games with visual quality primarily focused on the character models.)
