Really nice art in this game, uses Unity engine though customized a bit from the looks of it and it also uses DirectX 11 which I've not seen used in many Unity engine games though it does support that API.

Downsampling with Unity Engine can be tricky in newer builds of that engine so while this is DX9 and GeDoSaTo works with it I'm only using SMAA and Asmodean's newest post-processing file. - https://github.com/PeterTh/gedosato/pull/274
(Not yet merged with the main GeDoSaTo branch so it has to be downloaded separately, unsure if GeDo itself is in a dormant state of development as I haven't seen any updates on it in nearly three months now.)

Keep laughing, android can learn from ios Rolling Eyes. You know the iphone 4s performs better in speed then the current "laggy" android devices ? every android phone i owned always lags in menu's and certain games. With iPhone i never have lags in menu, even the newest update i can noticed it got improved in speed (iPhone 4S). When samsung launch a new device they send out updates to older flagships and make it laggy, i noticed this from the S1 to the S4.

And no i am not a apple fanboy, used android from 2010-2014 and since i own a ios device i dont want to go back. The only thing i miss is the bit freedom android has (copy directly music from computer to device without using itunes)

ArmA 2 and Reshade, everything went better than expected. Razz
It looks kinda weird at night, but daylight is pretty good now. It's the realistic MER preset that I'm also using for ArmA 3 (only with FXAA and derp of field disabled), works well with 2 too as long as you use Reshade's d3d9.dll:

Oh that? I'm just toying around with a preset for ReShade, seeing what works and what does not. Smile

So far I'm most impressed with it's effect in Sniper Elite: Zombie Army Trilogy but I'm testing it in other games too.

Elder Scrolls Online

 Spoiler:

Using ReShade with this was tricky as the game seems to use some form of protection so files added to the folder where the game exe is will usually cause the game to crash but on the ReShade.me forum there was a post about just adding the dxgi.dll file first and then copying over Sweet.fx and the other files after starting the game (Changing from borderless to windowed and back again to reset SweetFx/ReShade and cause it to reload the shaders.) but much for just SMAA but it did work. Smile

Performance is excellent though, constant 60 FPS even with view distance tweaks to the config file, some lag however so sometimes hits won't connect and that sort of thing.

One final batch of Elder Scrolls Online images, unless I find some more interesting area ha ha.
(Getting tired of mushroom-Morrowind. Razz )

 Spoiler:

As part of the Ebonheart Pact I won't really see the more exotic areas like Summerset Isle or Elsewyr until I hit max level of 50 and finish the storyline for the current faction, then it should be possible to play one of the other sides as a Veteran character but that's going to be months from now, at best. Razz
(Doing alright so far though, bit tired of iron tier weapons and armor but steel is currently outside of the level range to say nothing about Ebony or Daedric or whatever the high-end armors are made of.)

Enjoying the game though, it's a bit slower than the single-player TES games since it is a MMO but it's not bad, sometimes it does get a bit comical though when near the end of a quest a boss appears and other players rush in to kill the thing, or when one boss goes down only for another player to immediately reach the same quest stage thus spawning said boss again.
(Well boss and boss, these aren't epic raid demi-god challenges, at least for now and some areas actually have to be soloed whereas others can be more open.)

maybe if you only like derpa AAA stuff Cool Face

But yeah, if you are bored with PC gaming and find your fun in phone games, i'm happy for ya, just teasing a bit to keep that master race spirit going Very Happy

anyways, thief 1 gold, 11 years after first completing thief. Still better than pretty much 99.9% of games i've played since then.

went for a purist, non modded playthrough, just tfix for widescreen and modern pc compatibility.

took me around 30ish hours to complete. pretty amazing length for a non RPG game. hopefully somoene gets the nostalgia feels flowing Razz

That's what I call a great choice. They don't make 'em like this anymore really. Razz Crying or Very sad

You could've used the Gold HD Mod though (for the uber textures only), it's pretty amazing imo, without butchering the original style =)

I played the beta but not very thoroughly so I'm pretty rusty when it comes to the game mechanics and how things work (I also only played the first three or so beta builds so the game is a bit different now.) so what I was thinking of doing is to play the game on the easiest difficulty up until the first town (Although I ended up exploring this temple dungeon too as I got a bit too into the game, ha ha.) and then after trying some different classes and getting a feel of how the basics of combat, magic and stealth works I'll start over on Path of the Damned and go through the game for a real challenge. Wink
(Not going to do Ironman as well it's probably impossible not to die on that difficulty or so I assume and I need to check up a bit more on how expert mode affects things before deciding what to do with that.)

Will be fun to see how the game differs between these two difficulties too, from console casual to "PCGMR" ( PC Master Race ) very hard. Very Happy
(It's not just a matter of buffing enemy health which is also a welcome change, more enemies and better stats for them plus less camping supplies and other restrictions.)

EDIT: Also speaking of differences from the beta version it is nice to see that the character customization is a bit more diverse although some races still have very few head and hair styles.
(Though unless you modify the zoom distance this won't really ever be noticeable in-game besides the level-up screen and a few other areas.)

EDIT: Elder Scrolls Online

 Spoiler:

Started on Shadowfen now after finishing the remainder of the content from the Morrowind provinces, hopefully the missing bits and pieces can be re-added via expansions and of course future sequels to TES itself with it's focus on a single province in much more detail. Smile
(There's a few parts missing from every province although I just noticed that Vvardenfell appears to be completely absent of content and it would be nice to be able to visit Vvardenfell again, which is the main island of Morrowind.)

EDIT: Elder-Scrolls-Online
 Spoiler:

No SweetFx adjustments besides SMAA for now as I updated to ReShade 0.17.0 and it requires some adjustments to adapt the preset I was using to this new format so instead I use this:
http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/eso-launcher-graphics-enhancer-2/

(But I kept fog on as the low-detail LOD terrain is really ugly.)

(Onwards to Skyrim after spending a few days in Argonia and finishing up the Shadowfen region.)

Yeah it nearly looks like a PS2 game at times (Although the textures are sharper and the 3D details are more rounded / have more polygons.) although it makes use of various shaders which I don't think the PS2 could have handled (and the PC version supports up to 4x SSAA and 4096x4096 shadows) but that doesn't help the character models and 3D stage details much.

I would say it was done to ensure the PS3 and X360 version maintained steady 60 FPS but the game is actually locked at 30 FPS so it can't be that.

Actually come to think of it the style of the game reminds me of early 3D hentai games, primarily from Illusion Soft or what they were called.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illusion_%28company%29
(Although I guess the same can be said about many of the earlier Japanese games with visual quality primarily focused on the character models.)
