Kind of regret that i ordered it now when i read these comments, if it wont run decent (30+ FPS at very high settings) with my setup (4.1GHz, 4870x2) i'll be mad as hell...

Do those mandatory program installations run all the time in the background? I fucking hate unnecessary processes, even if they don't hog memory/affect system performance all that much.

Really thought i wouldnt run in to problems cause i finally bought a game again to avoid this crap. Just to find out that i have more problems with legal versions.
Wondering when i will buy my next game if this continues

Well, whoever that dead beat who I was gifting the game to isn't complying with paypal so in the end, I'm going to have 2 copies of this game which I don't want.
I'll have 1 free one and one I can sell at a discount price for steam.
I have the game on 360 and frankly, it's not worth having it on PC

Nope, impossible to turn on AA. :\ (More contribution to my 'fix' above) Some say they have a limited success of forcing in the control panel, but whole lot say it isn't possible at all.

How much will the discount be?
Depending on the price I might grab it, Not sure yet, since I'm not too happy about the performance report I'm seeing.

Have these people complaining about the shitty FPS even attempted at down-scaling the settings a bit? Does everyone expect to be able to run at 1680x1050 x16 AF x16 AA with every slider all the way up?
There is such a thing in gaming called "future proofing".
A great example of this is Everquest 2 , which was released a month or so before World of Warcraft. When Everquest 2 was released, it physically raped pretty much any machine trying to run it. People bitched, and whined, and cried. Today, however, it runs maxxed flawlessly and is still the BEST looking MMO on the market (4 years later mind you).
Morale of the story? Bump the view distance and densities down to 70%, turn fucking shadows OFF (shadows are a performance killer in any game, and they all look like shit aside from a select few titles), and bump the resolution down a few notches (though admittedly, with no AA support, this part might be difficult to justify).
See how it runs now and then come back and bitch.
I guarantee you that it will still look miles better than the console versions (I own a PS3 - the game was so blurred and faded I thought I was going blind).
By the way, if you bought an ATI card you're not entitled to bitch. You wanted to save money? Well now you get to sacrifice performance and quality.

I don't have the game yet, still deciding if I should get it or not.
But on GTA Forums you have a lot of people with performance problems. And it seems that it doesn't make that much of a difference to tweak it.
You always get some stupid dudes complaining that they can't run on max with their crappy systems. But that doesn't seem to be the case. And mind that there are a LOT of people complaining.
