The tissue damage and necrosis are not from the drug-part of Krokidil (desomorphine) but rather because it is usually purified crudely and incompletely from codiene, iodine, and red phosphorous. Significant amounts of iodine, red phosphourous, and additional corrosive by-products are also part of what is inject, and it is these that cause the damage.
its not about spreading leo its about the areas they inject. thighs,legs,arms. Also there is around a report about them injecting it directly under the skin instead of into the muscle also.
people do strange things when addicted I guess. |

Between fingers isnt uncommon, id venture. Between toes is one of the favorite spots for high functioning heroin addicts.

But then the gangrenes, as moose claims, would be at point of injection, not at the tip of the fingers. That is why I think the claim is incorrect, the spots in the videos do not correlate with how it was claimed they happened.

as I said they inject it in many areas of the body to give them access to veins or wherever they see fit, its not really about the right way to do things its about addicts will inject in all body areas.

well thats not true the first bit. An addict will inject wherever he can get the desired effect not just willy nilly. You wont see a heroin addict rejoice about missing veins : - )

As far as I understand gangrene starts do to loss of blood flow. If krokodil is made by home made cooks who doesn't filtrate properly there is bound to be some quite large particles in the substance injected into the veins. I guess these will tend to pile up at extremities where the blood pressure is low causing the gangrene?
