I agree. I had to look them up again. Here is what they are working on now, and a few words on their Project Offset:

This is actually very sad.. from the amazingly promising Project Offset to..uber-casual Lane Splitter game for phones. And it was a successful move too, damn it.

Supposedly the whole thing is in-game, I'd guess that any POV footage was pure gameplay.

The trailer was interesting, certainly more of a scene setter rather than actual "gameplay". I was a little put off by how long it went on for without anything really grabbing me. Hopefully they'll push something a bit flashier out soon. Has the crowd funding hit yet?

No not yet, they said there's been a hold up of sorts and the crowdfunding campaign has been slightly delayed.

Looks charming in my opinion, we still don't know nothing about the quality of the puzzles though, which is a vital aspect if this game wants to succeed. I hope it's not just "push this, push that, insert this", that would be underwhelming.

Theory Interactive: System specs are not defined yet but since we are on the PC platform, we will embrace it to the fullest and release Reset with abundance of settings to tweak. High visual quality is very important to us so there will be that very high end point to really set your machine on fire, but we are not all about just that. We want the game to be enjoyed by PC gamers of all levels. That was one of the decisions to keep the base level DX10 and not DX11, although statistics show that people have transitioned to DX11 fairly well. |

That explains a lot, actually.

This game is definitely on my radar. It's hard to believe that it's being developed by two guys. Any game that uses screen-space reflections gets my vote. So sick of fake-ass cube maps (Really, BF4?). The volumetrics look pretty damn amazing too.

Neither, I've never seen any game on indiegogo get successfully funded. They should've used Kickstarter if they want a shot at success. |
You see, they cannot. They are from Finland and in order to make a KS project and receive funds they need representative in US (at least this is how I understand it from the explanation of Project Phoenix founder). So they went IndieGoGo for EU.
Also - yes, many project were funded on IGG. Latest example just from memory: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ghost-of-a-tale

Actually, it has little in common with Braid. But it's gameplay is pretty much 1:1 resembles Temporal, which I highly suggest you to play:
