Nope. There are two more exams. I pretty much need 100/100 on both of them in order to get avg of 70 which is passing.

Sorry to hear that man. Can you/will you re-sit it? | You can't re-sit the exams in the US, but you can retake the class as many times as necessary until you pass with a grade above C- (70%).

Schaums differential equations and don't move until you get them.
Sorry to hear about your failing, but that means that you need to study some more (and sometimes that means that your teacher sucks ).
EDIT: You can also post the problems here, I'll be glad to help in my spare time

Here it depends from professor to professor. Somewhere it's 40%, somewhere 50% and sometimes they demand 60%...

I had another one today..It was kinda easier. I did all the problems. Studied plenty, and I FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT.
It was basically Second order differential equations. Will get it back next week..
If i get below 80/100 I'm fucked!

Can't you like cheat at those exams?
Man, i'm in my final year (4th) at college, and i've cheated in about 90% of my exams.
Sometimes is come out of an exam and other colleagues tell they couldn't do it, bullshit, people are gullible and you just have to now how to exploit them.
Maybe you could try this, thinly write with a regular pencil (not a mechanical one) on a simple piece o paper on only ONE side a whole exercise after about 5 minutes start writing over it and use it as an exercise paper if you're allowed and voila, you can work it here on end.
The older the teacher, the better since you could bullshit you way out that this particular piece of paper was under another one which you did some exercises on and you really push you pencil in the paper when you write something and by accident some unintelligeble mess copied itself over.

Nice! A fucking 58/100. I will never pass this class with him teaching each semester. Time to drop the class and try my luck next semester.

i'd say, 'fuck differential equations exams'.
I am now a member of the department of maths @ uni and we have a course 'differential equations' and the more horrible one called 'discrete differential equationsi' (wikipedia tells me it is 'recurrence relations, anyway, Koch snow flake shizzle)
I'll tell you the big secret, correcting those exams is hell as well. And FYI, nobody has to the calculation in real life, computer does it but fucking with students is fun
But I can remember some years ago when I had to do the discrete differential equations, it was shit, good you passed. Once you get the equation right, you have basically solved the problem, but then the exam misery starts 'let's get the value @ t = 2h or so... blaaaablaaa. Normally, you should never go through that crap again in your life.
You are now part of the differential equations group, yeaaaaaaaay. When they use single or second order differential equations in finance world, the managers call this 'PhD stuff, advanced mathematics, rocket science' . So you are basically looked upon as the wizard of the world by all your possible future superiors

@spankie Sadly, it's true. Most people will never see Calculus based mathematics in their lifetime, which is quite shame. I had to go through three levels of Calculus, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations.
Passing the class, not necessarily means I'm very good at the material. (btw I did not cheated on that class exams) I got the grade I deserved and I know.
If someone would give me crazy looking inverse laplace transform equations, I would struggle with it. But I know how to solve differential equations better now since Final Examination was cumulative and I had to study all the previous topics.
First exam I scored 19/100 and second exam was 57/100. Grade, I received was D~, which roughly translates into 60-65 in terms of points. I must have somewhat better on the final to receive grade, heck a lot better. I'm just thankful because if I would fail that class, I would have to take extra two semesters but now I only need to take extra semester. (Mind you, did not fail any classes, but I need to take so many classes in four years that is just too much, and when it comes to engineering, signals systems, and communication theory classes...It's some dificult concepts)
I don't have to see that proffesor ever again. I had three math semesters with him! Since he was only one teaching high end mathematics.
