Tastes kind of like Pepsi/Coca Cola, but a little less sweet but more carbonated. It does taste a bit different from Coca/Pepsi but that's as close as I can think of... It really does feel like a Christmas-like taste, but that's probably just because I've been indoctrinated by the marketing for it since I was a child. Laughing

??? Like Pepsi/Coca Cola? Confused

It's impossible to find comparisons since it's unique afaik. It's a carbonated soft drink based on hops, malt, sugar and the most important ingredient, the julmust-sirup made with various spices that give the drink it's christmassy taste.

Quote:
The syrup is still made exclusively by Roberts AB in Örebro. The original recipe is said to be locked up in a safe with only one person knowing the full recipe.

Must is made of carbonated water, sugar, hop extract, malt extract, spices...

Hmmm, not really. Perhaps 5% (the hop + malt tones), but it's really a quite unique taste.

Anybody knows a place to get it in Germany? I found an online shop, but it's expensive as fuck. Like 3€ a bottle + shipping.

In Sweden you cannot drink anything above 3,5% before you are 20. Almost as bad as USA.

What if you drunk a case of the 'hard stuff' eh, eh? Razz

At least with hard liquor you don't spend half the night running to the bathroom because of all the beer you drink.

You can, at a bar.
You just can't buy from Systembolaget.

Hey if you want to get that much drunk, you have to face the consequences...

Well if you're that stupid to drink so much hard alcohol, it's your fault your parents will get you from the ER..

because it seems like no person under 20 can buy anything(?) at systembolaget, and 3,5% is maximum in supermarkets in Sweden (4,7 in Norway). They even have a 3,5% guinness, lol!

We pretty much got the same system, but people here can buy up to 22% when they are 18 at "vinmonopolet"
