@iNatan, sueil: Steam forums, GameTrailers and YouTube comment sections are very evil places. They suck you in, and before you know 1.5 hours have passed and you are still reading posts
Mmmh... don't know about steam forums, but the other two contain such an amount of epic stupidity that it makes my eyes bleed just going through one page of comments... don't know how you can stand 1.5 hours of it without committing suicide due to lost faith in humanity.
It just proves my point all along that the scene should use DRM in order to protect their cracks, I mean think about it, RELOADED releases a crack that has a DRM that forces you every time you want to play to connect to their server in order to validate the crack. that way pirate groups like Valve and Ubi wont be able to steal the scene's intellectual property.
I was thinking what game would be the best for my laptop...and then, at the one moment, I thought of Max Payne!
Damn this game still kicks-ass! and it runs good on my Intel HD Graphics
I'm gonna have a blast at school when I'm going to play this...oh yes and doing 'school things'.
I've finished it so many times.
It's an amazing game and I think this video is a great summary.
"It's a perfect goodbye".
Although later on, Alan Wake gave us back a classic Remedy with atmosphere, characters and tv shows. Even some Max Payne voice over (secret pages).
Unfortunately Quantum break was not good

Original Max Payne was so fucking good when it came out, the graphics and that bullet time action was out of this world back then, i remember drooling over the game when i first saw it in action at my friends PC (had shitty PC at the time), put every of my money i got from summer job back then to get PC that ran it on highest settings (was so happy) .
*wipes off manly tears*
Both the games are and will always be among my all time favourites, with their perfect balance between (brilliantly-written) narrative and pure undiluted action, free from all the invasive handholding, forced cinematic camera panning and "immersive" tricks designed for the sticks that alas, even Remedy itself eventually ended up embracing.
The first Max is more dear to me because of the original awe factor and unique blending of drama and not-so-serious over the top moments (including the signature face ), but besides the more mature tone the sequel as a game indeed was a definite improvement, with proper physics and more satisfying shooting, for me it didn't really feel the effects of time at all. Also, shorter levels (especially the nightmare levels) and much better storytelling and characters which improved the atmosphere by a lot. The small TV shows were pretty cool, too. Hence why I love the sequel, but wouldn't rate the original highly as I find it too tiresome to play through again.
