so would you still go for those at guru3d? Well, ill wait (oh well, guess ill have to wait anyway since they are gone from the site) until someone find out if its worth to get the new official nvidia drivers. I used to be a ATi fanboy, now im afraid of new drivers... god damn ATi sucked at making drivers. Had to roll back somtimes.. mostly to get better fps.

As a rule of thumb, i never install new drivers unless needed, why do when
everything works fine.

Some people always test every drivers to conclude the orginals were fine.
"omfg i got 2 fps more,these drivers r teh ShIT !!!"
What a loads of bullcrap really

End of rant

The drivers came out cause of The Lost Planets. The dev's been working with nvidia to get their game to run smooth on DX9. I gained about 10 FPS which is a lot better going from 20 to 30. If your above 30 then it just means you can turn on some more toy options Razz

Wonder if they fixed the whole, "performance with undervolted cards," issues, or if I still need to look for a new vga bios...

Thanks H_S! Let's see if these are better than the 285.38 ones, which crippled Crysis performance.

Nope. Thanks nVidia(!) These are worse than the 285.38 ones. Framerate in Crysis dropped from 40+ to 11, just like it did in 285.38 Beta, though at least those gave me 17-19fps. So anyone that says it's only AMD with shitty drivers is basically a fucking moron Laughing BOTH camps have god awful drivers and shitty QA.
