then, for christmas my gf has buyed for me a new car radio, one that plays mp3, nice frontpanel that camuflates himself, r/c, some kind of lcd screen and other stuff...
in conclussion: get a g/f  |
I have been really lucky so far. My house has never been broken into but my parents have. My sister was still in uni and they took her computer. No back ups. She just about died. All her papers were in there that were due in 2-3 days. Plus her lecture notes were in there too. That really fucked her up but her friends photocopied theirs for her. With the police report she was able to get an extension for the papers.
Even my car. I have forgot to lock it maybe 4 times in my life. Honestly I don't drive a hot car. It is a VW Westfolia. It is like driving a toy bus. My stereo was about $300 when I got it. Bought some decent speakers too.
@kumkss
You gotta appreciate the girl who can appreciate the car things in life. LOL (those tire-biter chicks are useless and evil tho)
You know what I bought my b/f one year. Tires and wheels for his truck. They were a larger 33/34 inch I think. They were off road tires. A bit loud on the road cuz of the thicker tread. I paid about $3,500 Canadian. You can spend $10,000 on tires I know but I think that is ridiculous. It was suppose to be a loan but later I said it was a gift. It was a really big deal for him too. He loved those tires.

Suck man. But its only a sterio.
People still beleve that downloading is different than stealing. Well, what ever helps you sleep a night. Sure if you buy the software you use, then its fine to DL, and does follow the old scene values of "Try before you buy". But the problem is that at least 60-90% of people that DL, use it, and donot buy it. And you can give out all the arguements about physical property etc. Its theft, becasue you are using something that you didnt pay for. Who cars that the developer isnt out a copy (This argument is total BS anyways becasue software is protected under intelectual copyrights) . Downloading is stealing, period. Its temorary stealing if you buy it.
All these arguements are rubbish -But i would never have bought it, -well i didnt physically take a product. Blah, blah. These additudes help make the world an even worse place.
Be honest with yourself, you have software you didnt pay for, period. And stop trying to justify it in you mind with these BS arguments. Software cannot be compared to a physical comodity. Any one with a high school diploma can figure that one out.
But hey, what ever you have to say to justify it in you mind. I know i steal software from time to time. Im not going to try and hide, or make myself feel better with these redundant arguments.
