Yes, me too! Looking forward to checking out that portion of the game. The conquering mode will be fun too. I am also looking forward to playing as the Goblins, Isengard and Modor. I was a little disappointed in Modor in BFME. I am hoping that in BFMEII there is more to them. Having 6 races to play that are all fun will be great. Awesome replayability!

I totally disagree. The only new and good feature in the demo was the free to set buildings and walls with towers. The rest is just a lame copy from C&C:Generals as middle-earth 1 already was. If the game would not have the Lotr franchise both parts are barely hang around 80%.
After playing two hours on both maps and factions, I am asking why the hell the demo is so huge in size??? What happend to the good looking trailers? Playing on ultra high and 1280*960 and I say, it looks very similar to part one. Only the units seem to be high res which is unnecessary cause you always zoom out.

I wonder if LOTR will become to EA what Star Wars is to LucasArts.

It's all there, the hype, story, lore, weapons, ability to create non-movie-existant plots and so on and so on.

And stop bashing EA, sure they own most of the market but so what, 75% of the games they make are above average, 10% are great. Like all other developers.

The game doesn't judder when you have low FPS like most games, it just goes alot slower. Which is obviously whats happening with your mediocre computer.

Happening on my system as well, its a prob with the game and the few unlucky who have that problem, its not because our computers are mediocre ^^

RISE FROM THE DEAD MY MINIONS!!

EA had lost the rights to LOTR so they ended up not being able to make any more copies and can't sell it digitally. So all that's left out there for copies is what was made and not destroyed.

New they go for over 150 and used...around 50ish.

I was out with my mom going to garage sales and we stopped at a little thrift store.

2 dollars. All in mint condition and not even a single blemish on the discs

Such an awesome game. Apparently a team of people had been still patching it with behind the scenes help from EA (since when the fuck did they ever care about a game past it's prime) and was updated to 1.08 last year.

also...lol...

Middle earth 2 was my fav "tower defense" game.

Building huge castle with walls and archer towers in skirmish.

This is the first time I've played a BFME game and it's fucking epic. I summoned Tree Beard in a skirmish and laughed my ass off as he walked through a horde of goblins kicking them around.

You can still play online via tunngle so if any of you gents have it and have patch 1.08 I'd be happy to battle Very Happy

I dunno how I ever missed this game. I guess because every game that comes from a movie is usually garbage, especially one as epic as LOTR.
