But I don't think it was a stretch to assume that someone who wants a stream of cartoon network is a young teenager. Which cnZ probably is, the way he goes on about how he's such a pimp is a big factor in that assumption.
Theres a big difference between cartoons like The Simpsons and Family Guy, and the kind of stuff they show for kids on cartoon network. |
really, you piss me off. i'm not a teenager and what's so bad when "not" kids are watching cartoons? it's nice time for entertainment and so on..

I disagree ... After 11pm they have programming refered to as "Adult Swim" ... where they show "mature" cartoons such as Family Guy, Futurerama, anime etc.
also ...
from http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/gen/asfaq/index.html
Quote: | One-third of our viewing audience is over 18, so it makes sense to provide programming that is created specifically for a more mature audience. Cartoon Network is watched by more adults (18-34) than E! Entertainment, USA, Discovery, TV Land, CNBC, A&E and VH1 |
|
Ok I didn't know that. Haven't watched cartoon network in a looong time.
Yeah Fisk, I will if you will.
cnZ, I think 'not kids' are referred to as adults/teenagers in the real world.

Please don't compare me to him. My arguments are baseless, and yours....
Ok so I generalised about cartoon network, what can I say, I haven't watched it in years. But I still believe that 'Pinky and the Brain' and 'Dexters lab' etc. could only entertain people with underdeveloped senses of humour i.e. children. I mean, they're aimed at children, there is no substance!
But your assumption that my argument was against cartoons as a whole was wrong. |
Im not offended or anything, but I like Pinky and the Brain
Granted, I only watch actual kid cartoons when im blazed off my ass and they have a nostalgic value for me, but still - good, senseless, non-thought provoking tv.
When ur all stressed or pissed off, kick back, blaze a big head and watch some Roadrunner or Bugs Bunny Great stress relief.

nice nice,
I also tend to think that pinky and the brain also have adult related humor... Like they actually make fun of good old Steven Spielberg + his movies and isnt that just hilarious?

tv is shit! Its a brain fixing machine.. O_o |
depends on what u watch i'd say. i watch alot of informative tv - docs, bios, history and discovery channel shit |
bbbut what about shows like: Ricki Lake, Days of our lives, and Oprah yo!
what about pr0n?
NOTE: Discovery is one of my favo channels! If you ask me... evry school should have it broadcasting in their network, since students who aren't interested in history will devour knowledge anyways, since their programs are so well maintained for a mainstream audience.
Speaking of WW2... sometimes I just site there, watching shows for hours, I love it |
Talk shows and soaps arent my thing dude
Seriously how many times can u watch something on a buncha whores who dont know who their baby's daddy is?
As for soaps, fuck...this guy fuck that girl, who slept with some next guys dad, who murdered some cop, but who really wasnt a cop but a tranny etc etc... Story lines (and names and acting) are just way to lame for me.
If I wanna watch an entertaining soap opera, i'll watch the WWF :
