The real question is: will anyone give a flying fuck about it?

They probably don't want people to remember. ME3 ended the whole reaper story to begin with, and it wasn't even a good end. Andromeda was a horrible mess. How many people would actually be hyped for this?

Nobody cared.

Andromeda was the worst piece of writing I have ever endured in any game. Just horseshit.

Andromeda had no redeeming qualities. I consider ME a trilogy.

A thousand times this. The "thing" that came afterwards should only be spoken of in the deepest of shadows, in full fear of invoking whatever rainbow-haired life-form was responsible for it. Laughing

ME3 was garbage too. I can never get past that meat head idiot they added as a companion. It's like something straight out of Jersey Shore. Plus the combat sucks, dialogue and animations are really poor. There was no need for this coming from ME1/2, they should have used the same systems.

I consider it a dualogy Laughing

Well they do have a literal Jersey Shore actress voicing a space version of herself :"D

Eh I think ME3 is good but agree regarding the roided out guy. Still not as hilarious has the bimbo treatment they gave femshep AND ashley, that was really retarded

Although Mass Effect 2 had/has an objectively gripping narrative structure and some great moments in it, the only Mass Effect that I've truly enjoyed and even replayed with mods (original + ALOT/ALOV/MEUITM/Merlin) is the first one. Its genuine atmosphere and the fact that the game didn't rely entirely on cover shooting mechanics but had a crouch button along with slightly more lite-RPG-ish freedom all played a big role in reminding me that I was still in a classic BioWare game.
Mass Effect 3 was indeed already reflecting the dawnfall of the company writing-wise and its laughable conclusion was the cherry on top of the shitpie, sadly. As for Andromerda...it's best to draw a over it.

EA really cracked the whip on this series to take in the dollars, from memory ME2 and 3 release each year after the first. It's the sweatshop approach, which yes makes money but tarnishes the IP.

I remember uninstalling 3 after an hour or two, then reading here the ending was totally dismal. For me ME1 is the best game bioware ever made, I haven't bothered with DA2+ either meh.

They do this with every single franchise they procure, completely destroy the IP with cashgrabs. On the other hand EA and Acti are still here, so publishing dogshit games with predatory monetisation is the best possible approach to strip dollars from retard gamers.
