It's copypasta of CS with abilities thrown in. I'm bored of CS and I hate OW for what it is, so really no surprise there.
It's too slow for my taste and I don't know what is worse, those stupid shooting patters or abilities.

i feel like the only reason it's popular, is because riot is just throwing money at it that and people are already bored of apex and that kind of thing.
i played one game, so muchz waiting and dead time, such shitty maps , i honestyl fell asleep and dont feel like learning all these magic abilities bullshit , nor do the weapons appeal at all, its all sooo generic , meh
Cs was cool cause the weapons were relatable and cool and existed and u could control ur spray, this is just meh all over
tried it given all the hype, the shooting part feels nice but everything else is kinda meh, the operators are uninteresting from their personalities to abilities, only like 2-3 weapons are worth it from all the guns, much waiting between things, found spike rush more enjoyable.
made me realise how good apex is regarding interractions between the operators and its how its supposed to be done if you want a heroes based game, and others like r6 and tf2 having great operators

but i am so over this genre, ever since cs 1.6 not a single game made me go back into this, found cs go bad too.
also hype for this game dropped so fast on twitch after the beta lol
Played it for a bit but I don't understand this game. I was decent in CS, Apex or Overwatch but in this one I have only losses and very bad KDA. It pissed me off, to be honest. And don't think it's worth the time anyway. It's slow and feels empty.
I'm not a big fan of the shooting model. It's way too static. The moment you move, the recoil becomes so random that only luck can save you. And this is another problem, for a competitive game, luck should be diminished as a factor.
That's classic CS style though. You either gotta be waiting for someone to come around the corner or stop moving just long enough to be accurate before firing.
It just puts a heavier emphasis on positioning and timing of shots, that's all.
Tried this out for a round yesterday and thought it was OK but nothing special.
It's today's kids version of CS because everything's gotta be a stylized hero shooter now.
And ADS feels off here somehow...should have just left that out.

remember when cod became big and it had no recoil and people were raging everyone is an aimbot and that there were no skill involved? ...cs style is the opposite, you just cant run and gun. apex has a good balance where you shoot like cod but there is a big emphesis on movement and also positioning, r6 too

you must be really bad at fps then, the first day i got an ace and most of the matchmaking gave me opposite noob teams where just a few matches had actually good players.
Well yeah, I DO suck in this game. But I don't usually suck in FPS-es. I was Platinum in Overwatch before I stopped playing it. Haven't played CS:GO ranked but usually I was in top 3 on any map. Played Apex before they released ranked but I still finished 1st almost every 4-5th game even tho I can't say I was the best in my teams but didn't suck.
But here the walking is so slow and then suddenly I die somehow. (Probably? ) will do better if I play it more but it just bores me, to be honest.
