So stuck in the US, try to buy this game, cant, some shit about buying in my own region.... teamviewer to my dominican pc, try to buy it..... EGS locks up.
Since a while ago ive unsubbed to that youtuber, i saw a lot of bad things from his behaviour and reviews. I watched some minutes of his review because i had a long time i had not seen a video of his.... sincerely im having a lot of fun with the game, its repetitive, but fun a la euro truck simulator style. He seems to go on a rant almost immediatel, P2W? what? come on.
Vehicles management, mission and activities and especially the "progression feel" was what I missed the most on Mudrunnner.
This is a hell of a sequel !
Loving it.

Maaaan this is one of those things i just say "fuck, its fun" and i dont pay attention to anything else. Its just fun. FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN, i think ive played this thing for over 5 days straight lol.
Yeah, it kept me entertained way longer than the previous games. Mostly because there were actual things to do and accomplish, instead of just mindlessly hauling lumber between 2 points.

Once it comes to Steam, it's a buy for me.
you mean to say they finally added some gameplay variety to this shit?
Definitely. If you liked the physics in the old games, but wished there were more to do than admiring the way tires deform the mud, then this just might warrant an isodemo.
There was a point early on where it seemed like it would go out with a whimper like Spintires and Mudrunner, but once I got my hands on a variety of trucks, managed to upgrade them to be relatively good offroaders, then it suddenly became quite an enjoyable timewaster.
Put on some podcasts or an audiobook, and start playing. Very relaxing.

i bought both spintyres and mudrunner so i'm still supremely salty about how they never developed, i'm thinking i'll wait for a sale on this one and play with the boys at some point. isodemo if i get desperate
good to hear it has a bit more meat than the previous titles.

+1
Mack rants over an accessory thing, frankly. Ok there are bugs, but a few patches can eliminate them.
I love listening podcasts/playlists while playing this.
I understand the DLC scout is supposed to be op. But its a fucking exploration game, its a solo experience, theres no competition here, taking advantage of the game is only missing the enjoyment of its progression curve which to be honest was very satisfying, pay to win what, thats that confused me, he may rant about its his opinion but to be fair.
This game on paper sounds like shit, a formula to be bored, repetitive. But it doesnt happen, I dont think ive put so much time in a game since years ago (excluding tarkov but thtats an online fps), ive been constantly playing it for days.

which is why the whole idea of p2w cars is so annoying here it destroys the progression of the game in favor of making some extra $$$, players oblivious they just think they're purchasing a cool jeep.
it's more annoying if you actually play with friends and they purchase it without realizing what an impact it has on the game. i'm glad mack punishes for this shitty day-1 DLC and the retarded season pass if no one else is going to do it.
game is nice overall sure, his review is slanted because his shit dropped through his truck onto the ground after a couple hours of hauling and not understanding some of the systems
I understand THAT point, but to be fair the whole pay to win definition is kind of pointless here, the jeep cant carry loads, its just a good scout vehicle, noone is winning over anyone here. If a friend of mine had it would be like "im stuck pull me out with the damn jeep" its not like he wins over me anything, all missions have to be done with trucks still.
Man i just reject his review because if i ever saw it i wouldnt have played the game and thats the sad part, the game is fun, addictive, interesting.
Or isodemo it if you have a problem with it.
That being said, with a few upgrades the starter one is good for scouting.
Best tip I can give: scout, unlock trucks/trailers. Sell those trucks/trailers (you can sell them at 0 loss). Buy the International PayStar 5070 with that cash (had enough after 3 trucks and 2 trailers) and fit the all-terrain tires that got unlocked at level 3. Truck can handle nearly all task/mission on the Michigan map easily. By the time you're done with those you have enough to buy specialized trucks for other missions.
