Quite a few players think that the "best possible ending" is actually the one that is considered to be "bad".
I replayed the final act when I got that ending it's the easest to get, so not the best one. Best ending also has all characters in the epilogue
Ciri for empress!
So Pumpy settled with Diablo 3, which we both started playing together (I bought it half a year ago, but never installed/played it).
We started a new "season" campaign with new chars from Level 1 and we played 1.5hrs until we both reached Level 12.
At the end of the session we sorted or selled some loot and checked our stats, ... to find out we have somehow evolved very differently:
I was clearly stronger than him in a direct 1on1 comparison. For whatever reason.
It's not like you can "terribly" mis-upgrade your char in Diablo 3, right? What's the issue here? Is Barbarian class just a late bloomer?

Me and my friend have played d3 recently and we made hardcore characters and started on a Master difficulty After clearing GR70 we stopped playing though. The end-game is boring. PoE is a bit better in this regard but I don't like its flat and pretty mediocre level design and character skills.
@Ampee
I had more fun with this shit character skills & level design-wise than with grim dawn and path of exile I wish we had a game that took the best from these three arpgs.
OK guys, but WTF is up with my char? We are both at level 12 and he just obliterates me. I have no fucking chance and I guess my gear was perfectly fine for the level

Nothing that's just how it is pvp isn't balanced especially at such a low lvl, if you wan't fair pvp don't play heavily rng dependent games like D3.

I just wanted to make sure that everything works as expected. Sure there might be differencs in the loot we receive, but I just wanted to rule out something on my end.

I'm seriously enjoying Elex now. It is kind of an action adventure but with RPG aspects. It's pretty mellow - in fact similar to Diablo - but exploring is great fun.
I got the best possible ending in witcher 3 without using a guide and also saved everybody on the first playthrough. Maybe my favorite game of all time
Why does it ask me, cant I switch modes later? What's the difference and what mode is best for quick leveling up to Lvl 26?

Play campaign you fool so that we can continue with the same quests. I reached the point where you could chose between the templar and that other asshole guy (not bob).
@red_avatat: while everbody was hating on Gothic 3 I really liked the game (apart from all the broken game mechanics). Is it similar?
@PumpAction
I Alt+F4 and restarted the game, the choice did not reappear. How do I know which mode I'm in?
I accidentally raised to Lvl 27 because I was mid-dungeon.

The campaign mode is well...campaign. Finish it one time if you have not already.
Adventure mode was added with the expansion. It is rather for end game with all waypoints unlocked. You are provided with bounties and rifts.
Bounties are bits and pieces of the campaign where you need to complete X task alone. Kill this boss. Kill that boss. Visit this place -> clear. Etc.
Rifts are randomized dungeon designed to be completed in 5-15 minutes. You can rinse and repeat it non-stop for more loot. It's pretty fun in a group.
Last, there are G-Rifts (greater rifts) too. These are similar to rifts but with high difficulty setting and better rewards such as legendary gems.
If you are playing with a friend or in a group, I'd suggest playing adventure mode alone. Fast way to level up and also more fun.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Do not sell your shit to the merchant. I repeat: DO NOT SELL YOUR SHIT TO THE MERCHANT!
Too late.
But from now on I'll put good loot in the stash.

I reduce everything I find into craft material... is that bad too?
No. In fact you are right to do so.. If you don't need money atm then salvage all the items and keep only the ones you'll need (for different builds) to extract their magical properties from later when you get the cube.
@Pumpy & Pax, Don't bother with PvP it's never been balanced. By the time you get 70, you'll be oneshotting each-other.
Whole of this game relies on legendaries & set items to make specific builds with. Your entire playstyle will be dependant on the set item & legendary combinations you use. Check the leaderboards to see what's currently rolling (as you can inspect other people's characters on the leaderboard)
Also, the game only begins once you hit level 70 and can reliably solo T1..
