What a bunch of c*nts...
Game WON'T BE PIRATED if it has merit ON ITS OWN.
Overly protecting a TURD means its still a TURD.
Don't the stats show iTard "D" doesn't circumvent piracy levels anyway? Sales remained the same.

I wonder more like why more and more shit games are using Denuvo. They should invest that money into improving their games instead.
Or is Denuvo nowadays such a cheap bitch, everyone can afford it?

They always had different payment plans for AAA and Indie so yeah every company can afford it if they want, seems like it's way cheaper then making sure people actually want to buy your game by polishing it up as good as possible.
Btw that explanation by the devs is some next level trolling, utterly ridiculous.

Tried the refund demo. The performance is trash. You can get the average FPS to somewhat acceptable levels by lowering the settings, but the FPS variation and stuttering are going to ruin your experience anyway. The game itself is lovely though from the 1.5 hours I've played of it, so I really hope they manage to fix it at some point.

| Quote: | "In Rime that ugly creature went out of control - how do you like three fucking hundreds of THOUSANDS calls to "triggers"
during initial game launch and savegame loading? Did you wonder why game loading times are so long - here is the answer
In previous games like Sgw3, Nier, Prey there were only about 1000 "triggers" called, so we have x300 here.
Next - 300,000 called "triggers" were just warmup for Denuvo, after 30 minutes of gameplay it became 2 fucking MILLIONS of
called "triggers". Protection now calls about 10-30 triggers every second during actual gameplay, slowing game down.
In previous games like Sgw3, Nier, Prey there were only about 1-2 "triggers" called every several minutes during gameplay, so do the math.
Don't forget that triggers is under VM and heavily obfuscated, which obviously does not improve perfomance" |

Seems a bit excessive but eh probably shouldn't be surprised that a developer would go a bit over the top with the DRM to try and prevent it from being cracked.
Would be interesting to see performance comparisons if it's been taken care of in the cracked version particularly for lower-end processors then but I guess it's not like someone would do a detailed overview but it's going to be interesting to read more on this both here and on Cs.rin, perhaps the Steam forums too and I guess we'll have to see if the protection will be removed now though I doubt it.

Developers don't implement Denuvo themself, they send their code to them and they implement it into the exe, so this fuck up is on Denuvo.
