The golden age arc of the manga is pretty hardcore, but after that the manga becomes more shounen-esque if you ask me.

I hope this time they will include Lost Children and Guardians of Desire chapters, the later is one of the most important part of Bersrek's Storyline,and Lost Children was very fun arc.

The new Anime seems to drop those,and it's huge letdown I having my hopes the Video game will fix.

Yep, afterwards when the fantasy arc really sets in it gets really far from its formula, we need that damn darkness mixed behind the realistic war theme it had, still, i read it, i wanna see the end. FFS this manga is as old as me lol.

(I find the gore/erotic note pretty funny, there's not much actual nudity for most of the early manga up until a certain turnpoint towards the end unless you count some brief sequences and err Grifith selling his ass to a nobleman, and Guts having his stepfather selling him to a mercenary when he's a kid but that's probably not making it into the game anyway. Razz )


yea but near the end of fhe golden age arc and afterwards, Caska is pretty much being raped left and right. I wonder how they will show that in the game.

I don't think they'll show that, or at least not as much as the manga and anime adaptions did although they had that announcement trailer (Which is a bit weird because there were no tentacles involved in the original scene, it's just G. as "Batman" and Guts watching while being restrained.)

(It has varied a bit over the years but for video games I believe there's still very strict content regulations in Japan when it comes to even milder non-sexual nudity, they've only recently started doing pubic hair and anuses uncensored in other works so it'll be a while yet with the whole censorship/decency laws I guess heh, actually I believe violence and nuclear stuff is also heavily regulated which is why these games don't really have that much actual blood and dismemberment although this game might feature some of that, maybe.)

Then again what do I know, they could do a QTE segment of Griffith "Night crawling" with the princess and then another QTE similar to Metal Gear Solid's interrogation one for Griffith's little dungeon vacation afterwards. Razz
(Press "B" to hide balls? Then again it's never really clarified if Griffith got to keep those or not... Razz )

Going by the NeoGaf info the game will probably end as "Golden Age" concludes with the whole Caska thing and the Behelith summoning but then again as mentioned already the original work does depart a bit from the whole large armies and war to basically Guts and some other travel companions walking around and getting into trouble.
(Quite a bit of fighting but not exactly "Musou" game scale.)

Various spoilers.


For nudity there's a nobleman who tries to rape Caska when she's a young girl and then Griffith saves her and that's when she joins his "Band of the hawks." told by Caska in a flashback sequence. (Griffith tosses her a sword which she stabs said nobleman with or well he kinda falls on it I believe.)

Griffith himself sells his ass to one of the noblemen (Whom he then kills later on.) for money to fund his goal of a kingdom of his own but this is never really shown either in the manga or anime.

For Guts his foster father sells his ass (When he's a young kid.) to another mercenary to get money for booze, Guts then kills said mercenary in a battle later with a hidden crossbow bolt shot.

Then there's Caska almost being raped by that commander dude (Whom is shown to be pretty incompetent in the anime.) and later on Guts and her falling off a cliff but surviving and well Guts strips her naked and warms her. up (Much like she did to him - After being ordered to. - after he lost to Griffith initially in their first encounter after handily defeating several higher-ranked Hawks.)

Then there's another almost Caska rape sequence after Guts has to deal with some hundred or so soldiers while she is ordered to run away but she gets saved by some other Hawk members.

After that there's Guts leaving the band of the hawks greatly affecting Griffith's emotions to where he rapes the kings daughter (But she kinda wants to.) and then he goes down the dungeon for some torture by the kings royal midget pervert.
(Shortly after the king himself tries to rape his own daughter but she pushes him away and he kinda loses it and for some reason starts aging rapidly.)

What's next? Caska gets almost raped by a huge fucking creature but Guts chops off it's dick (And then "Zod" deals with the rest of it.) and Caska and Guts have a emotional actual consensual sex moment. (The one and only in the entire manga so far?)

And then there's the whole Behelith summoning by slightly crippled Griffith ending with well Caska and Griffith having some fun while Guts watches and kinda goes insane from it.
(As does Caska.)

Besides that there's some army commander coming home and seeing his wife having turned their estate into the biggest harem in the country complete with giant dicked goat statue and well he loses it and kills everyone.

Then there's a whole mess of stuff after Golden Age involving stuff like kids and "fairies" and some wind sultan and his weird ass hybrid army of monsters and occasionally Caska getting into trouble in various ways such as almost ending up as a rape sacrifice in some heathen orgy, this chapter also has the "Pope" as a villain with using the bible as a blunt instrument and his daily ritual of face-palming the floor 1000 times thus his kinda flat facial features. Razz

There was also that attempted rake by bandits by a tree. She goes crazy (even more than she already us) and kills every one of them.

Ah yes now I remember, that's sometime after the Golden Age arc ended as well where she runs away from Guts and that little thief kid he encountered (And Puck was it? The fey creature.) after Guts has a momentary vision or something about some demon/dog beast (Hinting at the Berserker armor which will probably be in the game somehow even though it's part of later events.) where I think he almost ends up choking her so she flees (And ends up really distrusting him after that for a while.) and encounters these bandits instead where after they try to force themselves on her she ends up killing them in some type of flashback to the events during that "God-hand" moment with Griffith and she briefly remembers that sequence again and her combat skills or well how to explain but she quickly goes back to that timid almost childish personality afterwards.

EDIT: Overly long explanation, but yeah. Very Happy
(Was years since I last read Berserk as I mentioned though I do remember many of the darker scenes as usually it was pretty straightforward or almost happy or funny and then suddenly things go all kinds of wrong for Guts and those traveling with him.)

Can I get a Berserk game by Hidetaka Miyazaki pls?

It was to be expected that it's just dynasty warriors: berserk from Koei, it's what they do with that stuff, just like the Zelda version and the Arslan version.

a few special features to align it with the material, and then just tons of enemies to cut down as usual

I always feel like they are like a Rocky movie. First he beats them up, then he gets beaten up badly... then he goes Berserk and kills everything around him and ends up looking like a corpse. He aint got no magic beans like Goku though Very Happy

Yeah but in the manga it looks fucking awesome and is painstakingly detailed. Dynasty warrior reskins are basically the opposite of that.

We need a berserk game by platinum games or someone.
