It is, yeah. And I think they went with the textureless look precisely because it makes the terrain deformation a lot simpler (and it has that certain aesthetic appeal as well, tho can't think of many other environments than an alien planet where it'd work - maybe the bottom of the ocean or vast dune desert).
Cool. I did some work for a game called Brutal Nature which also uses Voxel, it does use textures however (i was thinking maybe there's some type of graphics which won't even support textures).
Oh, I thought this died. Is this the only update this year? I see they are saving performance optimizations until beta. Good on them, maybe I'll hear about another update in 2019 and could be convinced to take another look then.
Update 0.10.1 is out now! This update contains a complete overhaul to the crafting and progression systems, including new resources, minerals, recipes, modules, and a new shuttle!
