The in-game heads-up display (HUD) was also completely redesigned. And we’ve made it scalable so at higher resolutions it looks nice and sharp. This also means that if you have a giant monitor you can now have your HUD scale up way high, or dial it back down if you’d prefer
I enjoyed the game back then when it came out. Not sure though how it will play with this remake and in this time.
Only the isodemo will tell. And if it's good a purchase during a sale.

Wanted to test it a bit yesterday. But the game kept playing with german language. But i want to play in english.
I found nothing to change in the Steam.ini or ingame options. Renaming those language files in the root folder didn't help either.

I've played it, did some time during their beta testing. It's BZ98 all right. It's a flat out rewrite just to make it run on modern OS. That's about it really. Which is a great thing, although I'd appreciate if they could modernize some stuff like make the vehicles handle just a little bit better, and make the pilot mode less floaty. You'll know what I mean when yo utry it.
The sequel '89 or what it was called wasn't too popular though as I remember. '76 was solid however.
EDIT: As for the RTS/FPS hybrid here I know I enjoyed it when it was released, will be fun hearing how this remake / re-release with updates will be received and if it's good or not.
