Apocalypto 8/10
Very nicely done.. not sure if i like the story as a whole.. quite predictable and cliché at times.

yeah, felt the same. But with all the brutality it had to end... hmm, at least not in total mass murder.
Anyway, first move here in Norway that was rated 15 and then changed rating to 18, 15 days (or something) after it was shown on the Cinema. Had to find out why they did that ^^

Smoking Aces was a OK movie, but the story falls thin imo. The ending is pretty crappy, you don't get any real connection with the characters etc. The action could have been much more intense at times, it had some good moments, but could have been so much better.

Blue Sky 6/10 C+ Grade: Nice animation, good voice acting but the storyline was shallow.

Hehe, saw that the other day too, I give it the same score for being funny/having charm (story is rather simplistic). But it is so blatant obvious that Dreamworks used many of the same animations that they did from Wallace and Gromit. |

Smokin Aces - 4/10
Terrible waste of a LOT of good actors and I'm NOT refering to Ben Affuck. Any movie that needs so much narration can't be good. Had the potential to be a good straight-up action movie but they had to make it more complicated and ended up with a real mess.
Sometimes, more is less.

I know that very well, hahe.. if you can re-read my statement again you'd know that. But even using the same typical crazy face that Wallace has in this movie is just being plain lazy.

Needless explanations in the end (IMO). Should´ve stopped, when they got to mountain with the kiddo. Ending didnt ruin it, but -1 ´cos of that (IMO, again).

Good movie, the movie tell 3 different stories who end at the same place.
I don't see many swedish movies, but this one was pretty good.
