They are boasting that they are spending extra time to make it as bugless as possible. So instead of 2 years, it's only going to be 1. Very Happy

I too am sure, that this time, we will have less bugs on release day. The main reason for that is that there will be a community alpha test. Look at what happened with Take-On.

Less, much less bugs on release.
The same will happen with Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, which is following the same pattern. Community alpha/beta will help to iron all the serious bugs. So if things run according to the plan, I think we won't have much serious bugs on release day, like all previous versions of ArmA and OFP had. It won't be clean. But it will be much better, I'm positive.

It's like that since OFP. If you pay attention, it's annoying. But you get use to it, at least that's what my personal experience tells me.

The annoying part is that all the dickheads will lower their settings, even though their rigs would be potent enough, just to gain advantage.

Bohemia Interactive Developers Arrested in Greece

Earlier yesterday, two Czech men were arrested at Limnos island by the Greek police. According to the police reports, it seems that these Czech guys were taking photographs of Limnos' military bases, something that is prohibited in Greek islands. However, these Czech guys claimed to be members of Bohemia Interactive and stated that they were taking photos for their upcoming military FPS title, ArmA III.

"This is true," says Bohemia Interactive's Marek Spanel via the company's official forum. "We prefer this topic not to be discussed on our forums at the moment, at least until we know more specific details about the case."

Having been charged with spying, the two devs were threatened with a 20-year maximum prison sentence. They were incarcerated for six weeks, after which they were released on £9000 bail.

Fuckn Greece.

I mean it's not like there's anything to spy on over there. The fuckers are so broke soon they'll be selling their shoes to Ethiopia Laughing

EDIT: But seriously, someone mentioned this and I agree, there are huge signs next to the military bases, a mile out, telling you that cameras and trespassing is forbidden.

Ok, Greece and the majority of Greek people are officialy broke but I can't see how this status of the country has something to do with these 2 arrests. It is known that cameras and trespassing is forbidden in military bases all over the world. That's a law.You are breaking the law, you're facing the consequences.
Also, Limnos island has the MM-40 Exocet Block II...

Poor bastards It's long been common knowledge that you just don't start taking photos of military installations, no matter the reason, but damn... locked up in a Greek jail? That's a slice of hell I'd spend every day praying never to experience >_<

Any kind of jail is bad, not just Greek per say. It´s a EU country after all, must have some standards at least.

I personally haven´t been to Greece, so i dunno how the situation is there, but the EU is usually pretty uptight about human rights, one of the reasons Turkey hasn´t been invited yet.

Here in Portugal at least, non violent offenders are usually segregated into minimum security prisons that are not actually inhumane.
