If they really go through with the censoring I'm done with the game :/ If cs:go , dota and WoW can have seperate versions ubisoft can get their shit together and make different versions - especially when they differ anyway in some regards *cough* lootboxes *cough*
We have come to the decision that we will be reverting all aesthetic changes originally announced on November 2. We have heard the concerns raised after this announcement, and have since then been working on solutions.
ive been playing it since launch and lately i dont like the direction its going and i feel many people that did played since launch abandoned it. too many useless operators that dont really bring anything interesting, then they started changing and remaking old maps and these new maps are too big, while they are more balanced and in line with new operators it dosent have the same claustrophobic action as when the game launched, they made it more balanced towards pro league and it dosent have the same "fun" anymore
i stopped playing it since apex launched and so far im enjoying it as much as i did when i first started playing siege. if apex goes to shit someday ill go back to siege as its still my go to game atm and never thought id stop playing it but i just dont like the direction its headed and maybe i need a break from it...if you go on their reddit youll see the same concerns..
and so far respawn with apex has the same content drive that siege had
I stopped playing when Apex launched as that's what my friends played. Then they got bored with Apex and went back to Siege so I'm back at Siege as well.
Siege really needs the middle mouse context notification thing.
Anyway, yeah, most of the new operators are pretty meh. I have enough renown to unlock all the new ones but have only played them a few times.
The most useless new OP is probably Warden. Maybe useful for the pros, but for regular players he's pretty underwhelming.
Siege also needs a cheater report or a smurfing report or something. Smurfs are annoying. I'm just dancing ranks between gold and copper. Silver is probably the hardest since a lot of smurfs in copper who slowly push you up to silver via surrender haha.
I don't really play the game if my friends are offline though as for me, playing with them is what makes the game fun. We're not really trying to raise ranks or anything, just having fun and games are about the laughs. Only reason we play rank is because games tend to last longer than casual.
siege dosent need any more contextual actions, game is a tactical one which implies talking, and when youre full squad and all with microphones you dont need anything. having more useless shit will make it more easy and dumb it down even more for the casual player. you can say the same thing with pubg, apex has them couse apex is more arcady.
fun is very subjective, for me in siege the most fun is when the match is very serious and hard, having it too easy just for the laughs is boring as fuck.
Oh sorry, I wasn't saying that was how Siege was meant to be played. That was all in the context of why I find Siege fun, which is only with friends.
The context thing is what would make me play with randos as solo queuing usually means no mic or no english so no tactics there, but again that's only my viewpoint. No need to feel attacked.
