Ugh that still comes up a lot even these days, meanwhile research continues into 300, 600 and even 1000 hz displays which also benefit from lower motion blur (Sorry in advance any motion blur lover.) though with the current PC port awesomeness actually hitting 200+ FPS even at lower settings is going to be a bit of a problem I'm thinking.
(Getting the full benefit and all that plus the retro experience from having the game look like something from the early days of 3D visuals.)
These new tech advancements will take time though and will also cost a fair bit although current fads such as HDR and 4k are still being settled in all kinds of ways from upscaling to how many different methods for HDR now for PC? (NVIDIA HDR, AMD with FreeSync2, Windows10 itself and then scRGB and in-game variances which even on consoles some are downright bad.)
Anyways Mafia 3 well good to hear it's running well and what else is there to say, Lincoln Clay and his buddy and the mob although different from the prior games.
Donovan certainly has character and Lincoln isn't too bad I guess though the city is mostly a backdrop for the story once again (And some collectibles.) with the district takeovers growing a bit tedious after a while but there's been worse and you do have some freedom in how you decide to go about the act.
Spoiler:
Well, you can choose to bug the district 100% and take the lieutenant over or just cap the fucker for a slightly smaller cash reward at least.

I've recently replayed the Mafia Trilogy. Mafia 1 is still an absolute masterpiece and one of the greatest third person action games of all time. Mafia 2 felt an unfinished gem with boring gameplay. Mafia 3 is gaaaaahbage all the way through and despite my best efforts I couldn't finish it. They should've named it "The Godfather 3, an EA game."
All they have to do is take everything that made Mafia 3 such an unforgettable experience in the first place, use 2K's expertise to add noninvasive authentic Casino looting role-playing mechanics, implement an exciting diverse story that puts you on the fanook side of history written by Resetera's talents, and we can truly have a modern masterpiece.
Don't....don't even joke about stuff like that. Seriously, it's sad how such a wonderful game has fallen so far.

"Experience the complete collection of Mafia III content in one package, including three sizable DLC storylines, tons of added content, and even new items for owners of the other two games in the #MafiaTrilogy.
TBH overall I actually liked the story and gameplay of Mafia 3 (but of course a letdown compared to the two first mafia games).
When thats said, towards the end it became a fucking grind as those of you completed it know.
So im wondering with this definitive edition, can you start these DLCs from the menu or do you have to do a lot of BS to get to pay these new missions?
My biggest gripe with Mafia III was that you literally do/see everything that the game has to offer in the first chapter. After that you just grind the same things over and over again.
The assassinations were cool and all, but everything else was so damn repetitive. I felt the story was going nowhere halfway through the game, it just felt disconnected from the rest of the world.
Also I remember that it ran crazy hot on my previous system , some of the CPU temps that I was getting were crazy.
Also the bugs, I personally didn't encounter any major bugs, but when I saw the videos online, I was shocked. They tried to patch it in the beginning, but essentially gave up, so the game was pretty bad even now, i don't know what fixes are there in the new "Definitive" update.
"tons of added content", that's not vague at all especially when it also says "even new items for owners of the other two games". So "new items" is something huge apparently.. im guessing the "tons of added content" and DLC's are the same, but its written to look like it's two different things being added.
