If this was a TV-show, it would have been worse than 'The Days Of Our Lives'.

My mother would have watched the shit out of it though..

ftfy: "some one", usually one sabin and that's it. This game has not aged well at all. And like OSJ says, the story is pretty retarded indeed. Even worse than the recent Dei Ex.

I don't disagree. Very Happy The story truly is full of bizarre characters coming from a 80s B-movie, the stealth is fairly simplistic, the AI can be hilariously bipolar, shooting is rough just like the animations and engine itself, the lousy checkpoint system, the list of the flaws is almost endless.

..yet, it's got that charm, diverse gameplay approaches and C&C/dialogue system that I always find fascinating. What can I say, I have a thing for these (very) flawed - but unique, in their own way - gems. Razz Laughing

Graphics are unacceptably incoherent. Terribad some of the time.

Animations are ... some of them are like placeholders.

Buggy as fuck, mouse control in the minigame is broken. Junkyyyyyy.

Limited options, unbalanced powers like turning yourself invisible (oooh, stealthy approach, lolgtfo)

Laughable dialogue options make the character seem like an unstable sperglord that just spats out random shit.

Limited short missions.

Who asked you? Anyway, I can type more coherently when the matter is more important. Other times I am in reddit mode. This game doesn't deserve serious attention nowadays.

Sounds like a winrar! A true PC gaem! Add it to Deus Ex (the original - all said here fits that well), Bloodlines, Stalker, Gothic etc - all the shit games that people attempt to call "diamond in the rough" Laughing

From the games you mentioned, Bloodlines is fucking awesome! One of my favourite games, I must have finished it about 4-5 times.

I could not get into the rest of these "gems"

That would be great assuming they did actually remaster it and not just re-release it. And update the PC version. It would entirely hinge on Sega though, and I'm not sure they'd be keen on stumping up the money for it.

Maybe if that version of UE3 is not compatible with newer consoles, there's a small chance of remastering meaning something more than porting.
