Fallout 76 is an amalgamation of the worst trends in the video game industry in the last decade, so it's one of those very few games I actually hate. It fucking sucks.

Multiplayer only so it's cheaper to make, just let players create their own "fun"

while i can safely say you're not wrong, i have a good 60-90 hours or something on this game and it was good fun (i played half a year or more after initial release of course). they probably still haven't fixed the server crashing even still, a real shocking effort for an mmo/liveservice
the only reason i didn't get back into playing this when the expansion released is because my stash is perpetually full and it's far too much work to sort it out
they should have increased it a long time ago, or made some kind of upgrade system for it - they should know everyone playing modern fallout is a hoarder

Lol no. The damage done was when Bethesda bought the franchise. But fans of the originals are a tiny niche audience. FO5 will sell shitloads, just like ES6 and Starfield will.
say what u want but fo3 and modding brought amazing life back to fallout, would have never had fallout new vegas without it, possibly not even wasteland 2-3
its a real shame there was no real fo3 from the original creators but we will never know now will we

Strictly speaking from the creators of Fallout 2, not the original creators. There's a whole other conversation to be had about the divide between FO1 and FO2 fans.
Today we discuss one of the issues recently found with the most recent update to Fallout 76 with Steel Reign. A major new dupe exploit and legendary re-rolling exploit have been found and abused which is leading to constant server crashes.

I know this game got a crapload of hate on it, but is there anyone from here that plays it? I picked it up due to current sale and I'm having some fun. Was wondering if anyone had some dupe blueprint plans I could take off their hands? Or maybe a crafted Brotherhood Recon rifle by chance? . I' just hit lvl 8 so I'm not very far. I tried it with a friend 2 weeks ago, after all the updates. Made it about 45 minutes in before throwing in the towel.
A few minutes into the world, you can just feel how much they want you to buy things rather than find them. Barely any ammo, crappy loot and so on.
I found it odd that you can shoot human NPCs in the face and they don't react, they just stand there. They were quest givers, but coming from other FO games, it takes the immersion out of the world.
The good thing about other FO games on PC is that you can mod the console-crap out of them. No such luck here.
Hmm. I’m sitting quite a bit of ammo at the moment. But I’m not firing a whole lot due to slow rate of fire rifle. I also dont really feel like they are throwing much at me as far as “buy this” goes aside from the initial menu screen. After I’m in game I pretty much feel like I’m in a regular fallout game minus mods of course. But I definitely agree with the console comment.
