It's been an entire month that every afternoon a storm appears out of nowhere and thunderstorms ensue, just like in a typical tropical area. This way it's never too hot (good), but the strong winds have damaged everything :/
I (almost) miss when we had a normal hot summer Razz

The North took our Summer!

My friends that are currently in Finland and Denmark say that it's hot there. The one from Denmark even says she takes her swim suit to work so that she can go swimming afterwards... I wish I could swim after my job :\

When that happens to me I never go on my computer. I go to bathroom, wash myself a bit, clean the sweat and go back to bed to sleep Wink

Atleast the AC is good at work, but since I'm home in weekends, it's a bit worse.
So a few weeks ago I went to a store and said "I need a AC. Gimme AC!".
They had one left, so I said "I take it! I need to sleep!".
"thats 2995kr (360euro) pls", "I don't care about price, just sell it to me now".

All the dumb things you do when hot Sad

But on the bright side, it works fucking great!

I hate you.

Seeing some epic lightning show in the distance that will be here in 20 mins or so. That's going to be rather violent knowing it's been bone dry for 3 weeks.

You mean like this:

On the Adriatic...

Dubrovnik is the one usually with the whirlwinds, but they are at sea and usually smaller. This is just like a tornado (in power)... Crazy weather I tell you...

Wow Dingo, that's insane..
Today we've been left without electricity for 8 hours because a tree fell over an utility pole near the main street, it was like going back to the middle age. Sad Laughing

Hopefully tomorrow the situation "should" get better and the tropical craziness should get less nasty, or so they say.

Ha! No, it's not.
Everything naturally loses heat on its own, by radiation. Some substances are better at it, some radiate a lot slower. It also depends on the environment and the medium, but even in the vacuum of open space you'd be slowly losing heat.
It's somewhat more difficult to get it back though Razz

He means as in, if it's cold, you can just turn up the heat or put on thick clothes. But when it's hot like now, even if you take away ALL clothes, have AC, it's still not manageable, thus his saying "it's easier to get warmer than colder" Wink
