hm I had my first contact just 5 years later and began programming ~1990-1991, so yeah must be older than I am Laughing

OK that was totally off-topic.7
Still I wouldn't judge anyone by his behavior on this forums. The general atmosphere is pretty relaxed and troll-friendly. So why shouldn't we have some fun here? Real life is serious enough Wink I'm not jumping into a suit and shave when I visit nfoHump Laughing

And the only time I suck in my stomach is when pistol is around... you know.. the ladies and stuff Laughing

Wow... Neutral Everything just WORKS on Macs... Laughing

Another bug:

"Find an account with no password (using the guest account results in data loss).

Now go to the login screen and click the account with no password, then quickly click on the account that HAS a password. Do this fast enough and you can login to your account without typing your password."

It is not a bug, it is a feature.

back in the days when i was a sysadmin at a architectural office i ritually sacrificed the macs
work in PhotoShop, Illustrator, 3D Studio etc was done on stable WNT workhorses
while at other offices the macs crashed and crashed using the same ported programmes
might have been that at some point macs had the edge but after a while apple stuff became more design/lifestyle gadgets
this mac-vs-pc discussion is pointless because it is about quality and each of us has a different opinion about what quality is
but the humour here i love, keep it coming Smile

More bugs

Quote:
I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro to Snow Leopard from Leopard. I had previously setup a secondary login for my kids. My primary account requires a password to access. Periodically when I attempt to switch from the secondary account to the primary account the password will not work. This happens either in fast switching or when I logout of the second account completely. What I quickly discovered is the password must be typed in reverse order. The text is actually typing in reverse order. In other words, instead of the cursor moving from left to right; the cursor is remaining at the left margin while the text shifts to the right.

Actually, wake me when the Apple market share percentage swing isn't smaller than the margin of error in the market share survey.

Snow Leopard is Apple's attempt to out-do Microsoft yet again: this time in the "reduce-Apple's-marketshare" department.
