Haha yeah, the demographics of The Sims and its community have always been skewed towards mildly seasoned ladies. It's their power fantasy after all, to control and manipulate everything with no moral repercussions
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
At least they are trying something different but it really should be its own stand alone game as it would be more interesting if you could actually travel to different planets and the like. Maybe that is their plan though, see if this does well and make a standalone version and start the Sims dlc cycle all over again with Star Wars themes.
This is the equivalent of getting a cheap star wars toy at burger king. its useless and makes little sense, the only reason its there is because its a brand name, like coca cola. nothing in star wars is about going to the toilet, socializing with the neighbors, dating etc. and exactly 0% of the real fans are asking for it either.
Also, they've already tried star wars slap stick humor once, and its been an embarrassment ever since.
Might be a good time for publishers to license it now though, i bet it's cheaper than ever... i'd still love to see a KOTOR 3 for example..
The jedi shit isnt included as of yet, using CDX rls and patches.
I use that lovely little updater tool, keeps things nice and trim, and saves downloading huge packages for shitty DLC The Jedi shit was only 390mb odds, and the 'knitting' even less, well, wool is lighter I suppose.
Well this is fucking tragic. I mean, better than the alternative of them being busted up, but still, a shame to see them go.
